After coming off a HUGE win vs. the raptors, i think the bobcats now know they can compete with anybody...this is definitly biased, but i really think we will win this game...wallace and sjax are bonding great on the court together...tyson might finally be getting back to himself...UPS an henderson are playing well....and like the observer said, its all about our PG play 2nite...if we can limit the TO's an get our offense going, we will deliver the W

I thought the Raptors games was one of the best I've been to, but getting a win tonight would be amazing. Gotta be hitting our jumpers tonight because scoring in the paint won't be nearly as easy as it was vs Toronto. I wanna see Diaw and Jax abuse Hickson and Parker. As I said in the blog, we are #1 defensively after the Raptors game. #1 in points allowed per 100 possessions after 14 games is pretty damn solid, especially throwing a trade in there...wow. Let Lebron get 40, I don't care but keep the rest of them (especially Boobie Gibson) under wraps. Lebron won't put out the energy in Charlotte, in a non-nationally televised game, early in the year to put the game on his back. You just can't let anyone else get theirs.

We really need to start hitting some perimeter shots as Cleveland won't be as porous as the Craptors were. We still play them pretty well, so if we can keep our guys out of foul trouble, play some great D and have our bench step up like they have been I like our chances.

It still worries me that we are shooting so subpar from the perimeter...but that isoing Jax on the low block is really screwing with the other teams forcing them to double/triple team him...which opens up the paint which in turn lets Crash go crazy at the rim.

Just imagine if we could hit some of those shots and our FTs? We'd be up by 25 now...and it'd be a legit lead.

Agree too on Felton. It's like he forgot the extra arsenal he now has and tried to put the team on his back once again. Luckily for us it didn't burn us like it has in the past.

In his defense tho, the Cavs' D really buckled down, and primarily on Jax. They were running 2 and sometimes 3 guys at him forcing him to give the ball up...and we just didn't have a counter to that.

Other than that he had a very solid game once again. Him and the rest cutting down on those TOs are really huge.

A few more games together under our belt and I'll betcha we have a counter for when teams try and take Jax away.

I think that's exactly what's happened. We finally havea guy who has to be double/triple teamed on the post and Crash is using it to his full advantage!

I really loved S-Jax's buzzer beater at the end of the first, was a great play by the Bobcats. DJ driving, dishing to Hendo. Hendo dishing it out to Brown (who was more open than him which is awesome, since some players would take the harder jumper than pass). Then Brown faking, driving to the paint to draw in the D, dishing it out then the finish.

UPS, more I see him play the more I like what I see.

Again, we could of easily lost that game. But we managed to keep our turnovers down (10). If we continue to improve like this, good things will happen. Felton, only 1 TO and almost "game-winning" rebounds.

I believe both of those corner threes started with Jackson post ups. The ball was eventually swung around to Wallace each time. On a related note, Felton assisted all three of Wallace three-pointers, so that's nice to see.

Still got no laptop, waiting for it to get fixed, so in the meantime i've been borrowing other computers. Because of my absence I'm way behind on all the discussion on here but I've still been following the Cats and I gotta say this 3 game win streak has been impressive. Blowing out the Raptors and following that up with a big win over the Cavs, and to top it off, ESPN actually acknowledged Gerald Wallace!

Who are these guys and what have they done with my Bobcats? Even though I wussed out and didn't make the game (fear of Concord Mills traffic and fear of Cavs beatdown....I know, I know....there is shame, believe me), it was obvious the same energy and teamwork on both ends of the court was there as it was against Toronto.

Like I mentioned on the "Not Fire Larry" thread, what's been so great about the Jack trade is the renewed enthusiasm it's brought to Larry. Even though the 4th turned into a Raymond pounding the air out of the ball fest, most of the game was either spent pushing the ball up the court via GW and outlet passes from TOs and rebounds, or crisp passes, be they skip passes, around the perimeter, passing out of a double team, etc; all of which resulted in easy baskets. Also a great job with the Chandler/Nazr rotations, plus the PG rotations. And even though he made to bad decisions on defense, and struggled with his shot, Derrick more than held his own while filling in for foul plagued Boris, even guarding LeBron one on one and giving up ZERO points! I'll be damned if Larry hasn't awoken from his early season hibernation and chief among those to thank is Jack!

Other than that, Gerald; geezus, man; just when we think we've seen your best, you somehow exceed what you've done before. How lucky are we to have this guy suit up and represent our team? I mean, really, how damn lucky? Wow....

Some bad habits are hard to break and Ray still has his (4th qt.) habit he has to break and learn to trust his teammates...three solid wins...as much as this was a signature win the Wizards (back-back) will be the one that the rest of the league will sit up and notice...and to top it off it is on NBA TV...
