A pissed off L Brown says we played sceared against Boston , Selfish , and a total lack of effort.
A pissed off Wallace says we got to cimmit the hard foul , Toughness. He seems to think we should play with a mean streak.

Thoughts

I think this is Brown and Wallace saying its time to take the next step to becoming a good team . Brown and Wallace both know we played than the first beat down against this team .

TEAMS REACTION TO THIS TOUGH LOVE AND YOUR THOUGHTS??

How will the team react to this loss , and a pisssed off Brown and Wallace

Although I hate a loss, it was a good wakeup call. Just because we're winning doesn't mean that we can start slacking off. We need to put 100% everytime we step out onto the court. We also need to loose this fear of other teams.

Both Brown and Wallace are pissed. That's great. LB loves this team. He wouldn't be pissed if he didnt. When Wallace is pissed, expect anything big from him and he will deliver.

I find that this is a good lesson for this team to learn, and that we need to step up our game.

I appreciate what they are both saying...but I was at the arena early yesterday...watched warm-ups...and could have told you we were about to lose the game...if I could see that why didn't LB see it and do something before the game...and damn...I wish he'd (LB) take at least rotation 101...those rotations completely baffled me last night...

Team preparation is solidly on the coaching staff and he needs a hit on that for last night...the performance and effort (lack of) is solidly on the players...last night I was not impressed by either...

I expect Crash to drop 40/20 on the Nets

I love the comments by both. There absolutely needs to be more effort, and like Wallace, I'd like to see a little bit of mean streak, too. Sitting there last night and seeing all those layups...I was begging someone to flatten the next guy who came in the lane. I'm not saying to play dirty, but something to make them think twice.

The effort is a huge thing. Boston is more talented. (In fact, I know a lot of people look at the Lakers as the title favorites, but the way this Celtics team plays...good luck, Kobe) I can accept that a team is better. It's just hard to watch a team shrug it's shoulders and go through the motions.

I saw it two , The lack of effort , playing sceard , Even the average fan could see it. The calls really sucked too . But thats no reason to play sceard. I left after the third somthing i never do . I don't mind loosing if we are trying to compeate. I think the team took this lose hard . I bet we see more effort for quite a while now . This looks like Brown has turned it in to a pride thing . Hes a master at those type things.

They should be.....we didnt even try it looked like. And you cant say that much if ever about this team but we just looked like we didnt try at all, as LB said.

But I agree with schnitzel that GW will get 40 against NJ

The silver lining is that we can afford to lose to the elite teams. We cannot afford to lose to New Jersey and Philly. With those two next on our schedule, I am glad a loss to an elite team pissed off LB and GW and hopefully gets the team to refocus before two games we need to win.

"Your only good as what you come up against
i'm a starter while you ridin the bench"
Quoted from one of the greatest emcees of all time Scarface.

Although we did beat the Cavs, we need to show and prove to the elite teams that we will compete and we simply just didn't do that last night. It was disgraceful because it was not an improvement from the opening night. This was a game that i was really anticipating because we are a different team now and playing the elite like Boston gives us a good measuring stick or exposes our weaknesses and shows us what we need to improve on,if they had played with some balls last night we could have shown some.Boston didn't bring us back down to earth, they slammed, shoved our faces in the dirt stripped us butt naked exposing the whole team wearing panties with little pink bow ties at the seam.Pissed....................................... ......... i would be disgusted
