To address last night, we played a different type of team. It wasnt your 0-18 New Jersey Nets. They had a new coach and a new attitude. They are your 1-0 New Jersey Nets. They got rid of their old coach and with him ended the old season. I wouldnt be suprised if the Nets won 25-35 games this year. Harris and Lopez are both rising stars, and to win in the NBA you need what they are:a dominate Center and Point Guard.


As for this, LB wore out the starters, if he lets our energy guys play (which would have won the game last night if he had deployed them then) we will win. If not, well lets not think about that.......

I agree totaly. Thats why i think we need a guy LIKE Elton Brand. We need to aquire a starter that doesnt have an expiring (and will just leave us this summer) without giving one up.

I am pleased with the progress of tyson, i cant wait until he gets into mid-season work and starts laying out hurt on opposing centers and controlling the paint.

We're pretty 50/50 with Flip. There have been games where he really helped us and games where he hurt us. The problem is that he is a shooter, and you have to let a shooter shoot to be effective, hit or miss. They have to get in rhythm, and you never know if that's going to be next shot, the next game, or the next month.

What a heart attack win! Being down by 10 with about 5 to go I didn't have a lot of hope...but we had some big plays down the stretch, mainly Felton, Boris & Crash. Happy they got rewarded this game unlike the last.

Even the trip home and a friend's assurances, I still am having trouble realizing the Cats actually won. I mean they've pulled out some big comebacks in the past, but I just never saw a scenario where it would happen tonight. The fork was stuck in them, I'm disgusted over getting swept in a back to back we should've swept and next thing I know Boris is drilling a 3 and following that up with a running hook in the lane and it's +1 Bobcats. Fabulous, exciting win after a very meh first 45 minutes for the most part. Good thing was that effort was there most of the night, but the needless TOs and general weirdness of the Nets game was still bleeding over into tonight's game so I just saw flashbacks of that game and assumed this one was over. But somehow or another they buckled down, got their shit together, and survived an Iggy last second shot and it's 8-11. Really good stuff!

Kudos as always to the demigod that is GW!! Whether he makes it or not, he's an obvious All Star and we all know it. Also, huge bounce back from Boris. I was very interested to see how he would react to Larry's postgame comments, and I'll be damned if he didn't put up his best game of the year! And Raymond.....geez; the hot streak has now officially become a trend. So good to see.

I didn't realize until this AM that Felton was almost a scratch due to bruised ribs from the NJN game (yeah right...if the dude isn't unconsuous he's gonna play). Can you imagine Flip at the PG spot for 40 minutes?
