Oden suffered a broken left patella on Saturday night and will need to undergo surgery, Yahoo! Sports reports.
Spin:
Oden is expected to miss the rest of the season, according to initial reports. Joel Przybilla should see a huge boost in value.
Im not suprised, but Oden dosent deserve this shit luck.

Luck or no luck, he had 'fail' etched between the grooves on his forehead even before the draft... one could just smell it a mile away. Get better, Greg, and foul the hell out of the opposition. :)

No one deserves an injury. Well maybe some do but most don't. Bad luck for the guy, just when he was getting started too. I must say, Aaron Brooks has beasty knees.

I don't think he deserves anything, good or bad. Though, I certainly hopes he gets better and has an NBA career.
If he doesn't, given the depth of his draft, he'll likely go down as the second biggest #1 bust ever.
Kandiman probably will never lose the biggest bust ranking.

Poor dude, he worked so hard to come back after the first one.I would say his career is done, another whole year off is going to take twice the amount of work it took after the 1st injury and by then Pritchard would have found a replacement.Sad for Oden and the Blazers............. Outlaw out,Batum is out now Fernandez:facepalm:

I have a feeling that he is not going to have a good career. :(

I'm glad i'm not a Blazers fan
Man, this just breaks my heart, he was just starting to play good on a consistent basis, now this, i hope he rebounds from this but i have a feeling we will never know how good he could be.
