Welcome to BCP, Random Hawks Fan. I agree that GW deserves to be an all-star. The man has been an absolute beast this season.I must point out though, that it is not us here that needs to get behind the 'Cats. You won't find a more loyal bunch of fans than right here. Folks may not always agree with team direction, but the support's always there.Anyways, it'll be interesting to get a hawks' fan's opinions around here every now and then. Besides, eventually, you'll see that the Bobcats are the more fun team to follow!

I'm holding the support down here in Wilmington, NC...but I'm pretty much the only one. Unfortuantely people aren't going to get behind a team that's been dismal for most of its existence but that can all change this year.

And yes, Wallace needs to be an All-Star this year, he's holding down the NBA's best on defense and grabbing more rebounds than most of the big men in the league.

Remember how they just did squeak by Miami in 5 games in the first round that year, and then pussied out to the Pacers in the second? If Nique was there, that never would've happened. Always loved Stacey and Smitty, but it was never the same for me when they traded Nique for that pussy Manning.

I'm still pissed about that cause I think the Hawks had a legit shot at getting to the Finals that year, but I'm okay, cause I'd rather be a Cats fan than a Hawks fan at this point, so I guess all's well that ends well....

I live in Lucama, my girlfriend graduated from Faith Christian in goldsboro, now goes to wayne community, where i will be going next year. Dad works at Wayne Memorial hospital and mother works in Pikeville....so yeah i'm familiar with Wayne County very well...

i no this is a bobcats message board but i just had to point out that the same thing happened to me...grew up a vikings fan, friends ragged on me for not supporting my hometown panthers but i never paid them any attention till that game...first play of the game/season- steve smith returns opening kickoff for TD an i been a panther fan ever since...i figured if they can beat my vikings then they must be pretty good...we never won another game that year haha
