I want to shout out all the supporters of the Bobcats, all the fans who been coming out and supporting ever since Season 1 in the old Charlotte Coliseum. Your loyalty, support, and overall belief in a franchise that didnt win a lot like the Bobcats amazes me. No one can ever call our fans "bandwagoners" or "fairweather"

Thank you Ziggy for this website and resource that has been a blessing for all of us Bobcats fans. Bobcats Planet is one of the best websites in the CLT area and the best about CLT sports.

As we shift away into an rehashed identity and bring in "new" fans, I just want to tell our "old" fans its been a blast.

I'll never forget the triple OT game vs. the Lakers in 07. I'll never forget a Bobcats game was the first game my lil nephew attended. I'll never forget all the close ones we blew at the end, all the upsets we pulled, and our magical playoff year in 2010.

I don't know if the Bobcats will be "appreciated" by the city in the future, but as a native Charlottean I will always remember and understand it was the Bobcats who brought NBA basketball back to Charlotte. It was the Bobcats that even when they werent embraced, wanted to win for this city and community. And even as a former Hornets fan in the 80's and 90's, it was the Bobcats that resonated with me further as a fan.

Maybe we could call it the Harrison Barnes conundrum for this board? I thought it was fairly accurate and quite pertinent to some of the issues we've been discussing around here lately. You guys have any thoughts on this issue?

At the same time, I feel like the Bobcats will be set up for success in the near future, mostly because the team has targeted hard working, driven, and high character guys and that is the secret to getting out of this mess. I don't think we have the culture there yet obviously, (and the Dunlap firing worries me) but hopefully the attitude of our guys will get us there eventually.
