Do you want a team name change?

Another topic regarding the name change?

No. I'm satisfied with the Bobcats. Changing the team name would only cause further confusion from the people outside the fan base. And besides, some people (even the commentators) still refers to us as the Hornets.

Wow those black jerseys look extremely sexy no mango, we would have the best jersey scheme in the NBA with those colors!

First, I can never cheer for the Hornets again. No matter what sport, league or team, I just can't.

Second, the Bobcat is quite populous in the region.

Third, Flight would just lead to more national ridicule of MJ, not good publicity.

Fourth, doing a black/orange scheme would be pretty sweet. Maybe some blue and red involved too.

the only change i am behind is the roster. it is not our name or color scheme that is keeping us from national attention. it is that we suck.

I'd like Black/White home and aways with Carolina blue and orange as secondaries.

Actually, the Bobcats name is really relevant. I hunt a lot and I see plenty of Bobcats. They are actually growing in population every year and maybe soon they will be in your neighborhood. I like it.

After seven seasons if fans haven't rallied behind the Bobcats they certainly aren't going to now just because we change the team name. Invest that money into expanding the local base (ie ensure the team's games can be watched throughout the Carolinas) and the players on the court.

Alos, why do people like teal over orange anyway? Miami Vice has been off the air for over a decade.

Also, MJ supposedly already conducted a study and they decided that we weren't changing our name, so it doesn't matter... Although I never heard anything about the survey and I don't know anyone who participated either, I think that MJ just didn't want to spend the money regardless.

Yeah....the only problem with giving us and NO names back, is the fact that other cities may complain and want their names back. Example....Minneapolis may want the Lakers name back. But I really wish we could just have our Charlotte Hornets back again.... :(

This is really rough and not the colors I would want but just the idea I was thinking. Of course where it says Jordan Brand that would be Charlotte and Classic would be Flight or what ever team name.
