Diaw will probably be moved by the March deadline. What do you think he could land?
If LAL does not land D12 i could see us moving him for their trade exception from Odom.

I don;t want another trade exception at all. Boris and DJ in the early season have played great . Both have good contracts . So far both have been having carer years. Boris playing center and getting boards like he has has added tons more value. He ses the floor and pases like a point . He can play five positions and hurts you at none . I can see him as a sixth man on a championship team. Im sure other teams are seeing that all so. Teams like the Clippers, Lakers, GS, Atlanta just to name a few could use him.
I can see DJ starting on a team looking to make noize in the playoffs. He would be perfect on the Heat , Atlanta would work well for him all so , Don't rule out Portland for him and or Boris,
Im sure the Grizz and one of those draft picks is on CHOs mind. Look for a DJ White trade all so . We long at p/f and White is being show cased. Im thinking TT is good to go by now.
I would not be thrilled about moving him for the TE. He's also an expiring contract. If anything, I want the 2 First round picks they own - theirs and the Mavs. Boris would be very helpful to the Lakers and Kobe this year.
Whats the point of a TE when the player is an expiring to begin with?
The TE lasts a year. If you lose a player's contract but are still over the cap (or the equal to that players salary would put you over the cap) you can still use it in trade to land another player. It also has value to receiving teams as they can lose a player/salary with nothing coming back.
I'd probably do it for a TE and one of the 1sts.
Trade Idea:
Diaw
for
Nothing.
I don't think anyone wants him. The LA deal makes sense, but don't see us coming out of that one better than we enter into it, although trading Boris would be addition by subtraction. If someone would take him for a 2nd rounder at this point, I'd take it.
Wonder how everyone feels about that Diaw for Calderon deal in hindsight now. At least Calderon would've had some trade value.
How would we be coming out worse in the LAL idea? IMO a TE & a late 1st is a pretty decent return for Boris.
I also don't agree about Caleron having trade value. Unless I'm mistaken he still has that trade kicker so he's north of 10 million per year...and he's still signed for another season after this one.
My bad, I didn't actually look at the trade proposal aside from seeing it was Diaw to LA. I didn't look at the details. I meant if players were involved (picture Ammo and Shannon Brown for Radmo). If we got a late-first from anyone for Diaw, that would be a great deal.
And while Calderon's salary is slightly more, I still think he holds more trade value than Diaw right now. Then again, I hate Diaw, so I can't approach this objectively, lol.
After the way Diaw's played lately, I don't see how he has any value. At all.
If we get anything for him, I will find Rich Cho and ask him for his three wishes.
p.r. campaign #2. of course it won't be as good as random fan is diop every game, but it will be a nice consolation prize.
trade diop to whomever for either tpe or expiring plus 1 million dollars. take the million and purchase $1 million dollars worth of prime lower bowl, club and courtside seats from season ticket holders or vacant seats. randomly contact people in the home market and offer the tickets free.
