What do you guys think of Shabazz Muhammad. Do we start wish for a top pick again and if we don't get it, is he worth trading both our 1st rounders (providing we get Portland's pick in 2013) to get him.

It all depends on who we get this year. If we land the first pick this year and pick up Davis, it would be pointless to pick up Noel or Drummond. Bis/Davis will be the front court for the next decade which ill force us to pick up Shabazz. Noel and Drummond would just create a log jam down low. Im high on this guy since the beginning. I seen a couple of his high school games and he is just so damn explosive with his dunks. He also has a good outside game too. One site compared him to a Kobe/Harden mixture which if true would be really nice to have as a offensive corner stone while Bis/Davis hold the interior D.
If we land 2-4, we will get Barnes. This will allow Shabazz/Noel/Drummond to be available to us in next years draft. No log jams. Me personally, Ill stay away from Drummond. After watching him play this year, he has been very disappointing.
Keep an eye on Jarnell Stokes at TN. This was supposed to be his high school season but he joined the Vols in the middle of the year. He finished with averages of 9.3 pts 7.6 rebounds and 1.4 blks. Tennessee was picked to finish 11th in the SEC and finished 2nd just missing the NCAAs. This kid has an NBA ready body. He is 6'8'' 250 with a size 20 shoe. Seems to have all the intangibles in terms of work ethic ect. He will be playing in the NIT monday night.
I doubt he will be a top pick, but I'm loving Royce White from Iowa State. He's taking on Kentucky right now and saying "Anthony Davis who?". Guy is Boris Diaw's clone (as far as versatility and body type) with a desire to get boards too and aggressive on the offensive end.
i randomly watched that guy's first game and caught another one later on. i don't think he was really ranked/hyped that high at the time (aka not like shabazz, austin rivers, or harrison barnes were), but my attention always gravitated towards him. dude was a straight beast and this was against kentucky. i think he was matched up with terrance jones and stokes was just giving him fits on both sides of the ball. he had turned 18 just one week before.
both times i saw him i was really impressed. i wouldn't be surprised to see him shoot up some draft boards for next year.
We must pray for Shabazz. Dude is a BEAST.
