Could see MKG coming in averaging 7 or 8 boards a game. Voted Bismack thought, gotta love how this kid plays with very little time.

I think you guys are being super optimistic when it comes to MKG's rebounding.
In the shot clock era, only 7 guys have averaged 7 rebounds their rookie season while being 6'7" or shorter. Not saying he can't, but let's not get too far ahead of ourselves
Jordan didn't do it
LeBron didn't
Wade
Kobe
Pippen
Nique
Drexler
you get the picture.
Not trying to say it's impossible, just that we should temper our expectations a little bit for the youngest player in the entire NBA.
Considering none of those guys main game's were based off rebounding. MKG is a rebounder and defender first.
Okay then you think he's going to get more rebounds than (I'll include some true big men)
Shawn Marion (6.5)
Josh Smith (6.2)
Nene (6.1)
Andre Iguodala (5.7)
Joakim Noah (5.6)
Kawhi Leonard (5.1)
also, Bismack "only" averaged 7.3 after being named a starter, Serge Ibaka hasn't averaged more than 7.6 in his career, and Crash didn't hit 7+ rebounds until his 5th season.
I applaud your optimism, but I don't see him getting that many on a nightly basis
See now we're getting more into the point I was trying to make.
He can definitely hit 7+ eventually, and I would be all sorts of disappointed if he didn't reach that mark (and then some) after a few years of NBA experience and weight training. I didn't mean to sound like I don't expect great things for him, but that's after a year or two. I'd love to be proven wrong though :)
