Is Kemba Walker the best Point Guard the bobcats have ever had?

Dude I have no doubt it was me!

My intent was to ask how many PGs PLAYED like a top 3 PG just coming out on a crap team...sort of like CP3 when he first came on board with NOLA.

Rondo is actually what I was getting at; adding talent around Kemba or arguably any of our other PGs could very well make them suddenly look a heckuva lot better than they did and esp. given a good situation like Felton in NY the first time under Pringles.

I'll bet DJ will look a LOT better with the Pacers.

I found a recent article depicting Sporting News take on who were the top 20 rookie point guards in modern day NBA history.

*I don't know why Deron Williams and Steve Nash rookie seasons were included. Barring team record, I would take Kemba's rookie season over both of their's.

Deron actually looked good in his rookie year though. Kemba... outside of the Milwaukee, Washington, Detroit, and Atlanta games has looked like wtf.

I know its beating a dead horse... so I'm not going to go drag the thread down with it again.

I made this thread from a stats standpoint and looking specifically at what Kemba did his rookie year and obviously improvement in stats are expected.

With cap room and potentially 3 first round picks in either this years or next years draft, surrounding him with talent will come.

Yes there are thing he needs to work on, such as the mentioned p&r and his shooting but i see no reason why he can't and won't turn into a 14,8,3 type player.

Biz is the one with the most question marks imo. Not being able to catch the ball clean, biting on pump fakes still, no post game. I'll save that for another thread though

I think he his and will be a big time player when he improves his field goal % and takes better percentage shots. I'm impressed with his rebounding and defensive ability more than anything but he gets to the Free Throw line very often which is key.

I think he could be. I think it's fair to say that he has the most talent of any PG in our history, time will tell if it translates.

IMO Kemba is a awesome rebounder for his size but I believe he will always be one of those players that shoots a bad percentage.. Like Jennings, Crawford, Kevin Martin, etc.
