Washington just did a horrid job of developing their young talent. McGee, Blatche, and Young are all quality youth but considered headcases due to poor coaching/management during the early stages of their careers

we have picked 3 top 10 picks in the last 2 seasons in MKG, Kemba and Biyombo. We will definatley get a top 10 pick this season, probably a top 5 pick. We need to develop our young players and rebuild
Put me down as someone who wants to win as few games as possible. I want at least two more top 4 picks before we start going for playoff runs
I think we should gear up for a championship run now
If you think the Bobcats are capable of making any sort of playoffs run without two more top 4 picks (at the minimum) then,

Fans and management think about losing, tanking, and future draft positions. I don't think that slips the players' minds. Players go out there or at least try to look as if they are giving their all, because that's what they're paid to do.
With that being said, expect to see our guys out there busting their tails and improving little by little but know that we are definitely a couple more pieces away from talking playoffs. That's all there is too it. We are not a team penciled in to make the playoffs and we shouldn't expect to. The worse thing for our future right now would be to slip into the 35-43 win mark (which I definitely don't see happening anyway). And either barely miss the playoffs with a 9th or 10th seed or make it with the 8th seed and get swept in the first round
That's really not even the point though. Regardless of the status of their young talent, they blew their cap space and sacrificed some of that talent to bring in Nene, Okafor, Ariza, and other crap that's going to make you just good enough to squeeze out an 8 seed and miss out on decent lotto balls.
God no. But I don't even want to chance it. IF we ever get anywhere close, I want the whole team to come down with the "flu" and take off to Fiji for the rest of the year.
If by some divine intervention we got 40 wins it would probably mean one of 2 things. Bc it is such an outside chance. 1 someone like mully tyrus or ben gordon went crazy allstar numbers out of nowhere and we could trade them at deadline for a good lottery pick, or 2 someone like kemba or mkg starts developing into a game changer like durant. In which case good things. And we will still be set up for the future. Since neither one of those things is likely to happen... calm down. We had a couple good games and were lucky with free throw rolls in one.
There is no chance in hell this team is within 5 games of a playoff spot after February 1st, and in all likelihood should be 10 or more games out. Kemba and MKG could play like future superstars and there still isn't enough talent on this team at this point in time.
But, all that said: if Kemba, MKG, Mullens, Biyombo or Taylor are somehow the reason this team is in contention, then don't try to stop it. If it's anyone else? Trade their ass.
