We got our butts kicked today. One of the worst games ive been to. What was up with that starting line up? Diop? Really? The guys also played like they were sleepwalking. No ball movement. Nothing.
Also JT should be starting over Hendo.

i was going to ask if there was a specific reason why he was starting. is haywood injured or resting? if not, i predict a diop trade by january. the goal is to show he can be a 10 min per game guy and use his fouls up. he is getting more minutes this week than he has all season. someone out there is calling cho about him.
Well, the Spurs are a well-oiled machine. We're still trying to find the pieces to build a machine; forget about if it's oiled or not. Couple that with the defensive scheme that makes it harder to rotate effectively and that's a recepie for a whipping. I don't really think we were sleepwalking...the talent difference between the teams is pretty large and that showed. Best to learn what you can from it and move on.
Now, starting Diop? I don't have an answer for that one. Not even a remote clue.
I don't care what the supposed reason for starting Diop was....it was a freakin dumb move. Not that if we would've started Haywood we would've won the game, but Diop is maybe the worst player in the NBA. He shouldn't even get PT let alone a start.
I DON'T like Bismack starting over Byron when we're going up against a top tier team that can and did fill it up.
