I still think he is gonna be a nice PF in the NBA. I dont think there is another PF in the league that can guard him straight up.
he's got a real unique skill set for a 4....i think his wingspan could ppossibly make up for his height
I like him better than I liked Thomas Robinson last year. Bennett is a lot closer to being a low post scorer and a scorer in general than Robinson.
I like these floor-level highlights, because I think they give a better feel for a player's height, length, and expolosiveness. There are 3 good Bennett plays here.
Pause this video at the late 0:35 mark, when Bennett is fully extended on a dunk. He appears to have incredible length. A basketball net is usually around 18 inches long. Bennett's shoulder is significantly below the net, and his hand is significantly above the rim. Also, his above-head reach appears to be 1.6 times the diameter of the rim(also 18 inches). This indicates to me that his reach COULD be 28" above his height. That would give him a standing reach around 8'11", perfectly fine for a 4-man. Not to mention, his shoulders are high and massive, which carves out space for a shorter big.

It's just a shame that he (supposedly) doesn't use his bulk as much as he should. But IS there a player in the college game who can score from so many places on the court?? His offensive skills are exactly what we've needed on this team forever.
Will he ever get fully interested in defense and rebounding?? Does it matter??
Also, in the video above, follow Bennett on the play starting at the 1:17 mark. He easily has a player posted in the lane and his teammates fail to feed him the ball. No problem! He just prances out to the 3-point line and nails an effortless catch-and-shoot 3 like he's a small forward. I hope Cho takes a hard look at this prospect.
His build reminds me so much of Zach Randolph. I think a big reason why he looks lackadaisical on defense and rebounds is because of his asthma, saving his wind for offense.
his offense and skill far out weighs any defensive issues. their probably isnt a PF in the league that can guard him.
Didn't he have injury concerns in high school also? But I agree he'd be a great fit for this team, having a 4 that can shoot would be huge since our 3 is never going to have a real dangerous jump shot. Cho should definitely look at him, very fascinating prospect.
