What other big man on our team can really provide those numbers for us thought?
Kobe went 14 out of 29 and he supposed to be one of the best players in the world, ever. I think it's a good thing though; this guy scored 21 points got 14 rebounds and 3 steals and you (all) are acting like he had an off-game. I can't even remember the last time when one of our big men had such a game (must have been Okafor).
Those Sacramento fans are stupid, we all know that, but maybe we're a little stupid too. I know Biz is a good player and he will be great one day, but even if you add two first rounders (probably just inside the lottery) it's still an unfair trade for the kings (don't matter to me, but I doubt Sacramento would accept such an offer). If we really want Cousins the only trade in my opinion would be something like the following:
Bismack Biyombo
Kemba Walker
Gerald Henderson
2 x 1st
For:
Demarcus Cousins
Aaron Brooks/Jimmer Fredette
you typically want your bigs shooting well north of 50%. guards and sf's tend to be further from the basket so a 45% shooter from the floor is acceptable. tyson chandler shoots as high as 70% for the season. it is inefficient.
that said, biz shoots 44% on only 5 attempts per game. so given that, it is a very tough sell for me as to why biz is so important that he absolutely can not be included in a deal. however, i would try like hell if i were management to keep biz (and most certainly kemba and mkg) out of any deal.
What big man on our team could provide us 21 points on 21 shots? Mullens...
Kobe has inefficient shooting night...DeMarcus has inefficient shooting nights...therefore Cousins=Kobe? I don't get your logic. Byron Mullens has crappy shooting nights often too, doesn't mean he's comparable to Kobe.Quote:

That horrible trade would set our rebuild back a solid 3 years.
10-21 is only a shade under 50%. That's not too bad if you ask me. But this is becoming a farce now, I don't want cousins here anyway.
It's not efficient, and looking at BBRef Cousins has never been consistent.
What's huge are those 10 assists.
What I intended to say was, that you'll get the ball more often and you (need to) take more shots when you're the team's offensive weapon. If Kobe does it than it's the team's fault for not helping him, but if Cousins does it it's all of a sudden due to his immature behavior and poor decision making.
Don't forget: every big men who's played for Charlotte is suddenly twice as good as he was before.
