Ah, I still do not believe he is expendable. He spent some time in the D-League earlier. With Sefalosha, Martin, Westbrook, Jackson, and Maynor all get minutes at the guard spots, it was going to be hard for Lamb to crack the rotation anyway. I see him taking over Martin's role next year after he walks as a free agent (unless he gives OKC a major discount). I see the only way they part with Lamb is if they can get Cleveland to take on Kendrick Perkins' contract in a trade for Andersen Verajao

Pretty sure Martin won't walk, I reckon he signs a 2 year deal and Lamb will take over in the last year of his two year deal. martin will then be traded as a scoring expiring contract... Yes I do have a crystal ball! I have no idea really, but if that does happen then Someone owes me 5 bucks

Henderson's a fine utility player and all, but if we're assuming that Kemba's sticking around and MKG is the small forward of the future, Charlotte needs a quality scorer at the two. The only ideal scenario is probably trading for Eric Gordon without him having recurring knee troubles, but he's looking like he'll be in and out of the lineup the next couple years. Arguing that Henderson's a fine role-playing starter glosses over the fact that the Bobcats can't afford to just have a role-playing starter at that position.

seriously, what shooting guards haven't been named here? probably jj redick and lance stephenson.
i think a ball handling/skilled shooting guard with range would be best here, i think they'd work really well with kemba (who i swear can play awesome off ball offense) and mkg. manu, harden, old b-roy, jerry west etc. obviously, those dudes are all awesome players, so it's not exactly an easy demand to fill.

I would say with the exclusions that were given, we might be better off target Shabazz or McLemore in the draft.

Klay Thompson and Richard Hamilton in his prime. Love a shooting guard with a consistent jumper but will play any role that is needed. Team players with good IQ and positive attitudes.
