I don't know if you guys can tell but Biz is slooooowly turning a corner. He's looking much more fluid and natural with the ball i.e. not having to think before he makes a move and teammates are trusting him enough to pass him the ball more.
If only he could play against Dwight every game...
He looked fantastic last night. Who else here jumped up and screamed "YES!!!" when he made that slam with Dwight on his back in the 1st quarter? Biz showed some poise in the paint offensively (made a nice assist to Hendo on a drive for a layup, caught and finished a few times in traffic) and obviously worried the hell out of Dwight defensively.
I think last night vs. other games Biz was told to focus solely on his man vs. trying to help everyone else and that made a difference. Of course he did help in some instances but maybe that made the game simpler for him.
That's b/c Dwight has no post moves. Strength and athleticism vs strength and athleticism. It's those crafty Scola types that haunts Biz in his nightmares.
I definitely can see Biz improving every single game. Its gonna get there and when it does it could be awesome.
That said, he plays well against Dwight Howard because Dwight Howard is garbage. Maybe the single most overrated player in NBA history. Zero game outside of 2 feet. Lakers deserve him, all hype.
Mods, please change thread title to "Biyombo and his much improvement"
Can't say he's improved that much since this thread was made. All I see is 2 good games.
