Well that's quite a big blunder if he doesn't pan out. Correct me if I'm wrong bit didn't we give up Jackson, Livingston, and Tobias for an overpriced Maggete on the downside (hence the redic $ tied up with BG) and Biz a la 3-way trade? I don't expect perfection...but Cho must have had a love jones for this guy. Wouldn't 11' draft be the worst time to trade up for pic if it was so weak? If Jeff Taylor tanks that's a completely different story given his smaller price.
I wasn't alluding to starting our current journeyman as opposed to Biz; moreso talking about targeting polished prospects..Beal is a good example from a SG standpoint...hell even an unskilled MKG as a rookie has something to offer with is physical tools. Looking ahead, I was thinking getting two starting front-court players (younger than our vets) in the next 2 years..or somewhat soon. This proclamation of "The Core" is way too premature...that is, if you consider Biz a piece of it and especially if your banking future personnel moves on an optimistic projection where Biz is a cornerstone.
