I mean seriously this guy is terrible! I've felt this way awhile but after watching Friday's game against the Cavs it really just solidifies my feelings. There was no hustle to get back to the other side of the court on turnovers, his shot selection is mind "bottling", and he always looks like he'd rather be anywhere but playing on this team. Just had to vent on this. What is everyone else's thoughts?

I've been meaning to start a thread to see if anyone else saw what he did to Dunlap during the Cavs game. I dvr'd it but, basically Dunlap walks to the end of the bench and says something and Tyrus looks at him like he's an idiot and then mouths something and turns away. I'll try to take a picture and post it... It really pissed me off and I bet some similar act about got his ass beat by Silas.
I dunno, he seems like a way better version of Hakim Warrick to me.
At least Tyrus shows some emotions.
I really dislike him, but actually thought he did alright in that game :/
Yeap saw it to when he turn his head and like WTF at Dunlap. I think we could get rid of him in a Rudy Gay trade with him and Diop since they want to shed salary.Quote:

I think Hickson is in the perfect situation in Portland. Having a 7ft pf next to you who can make up for Hickson's lack of size at the 5 helps. I don't think he ever has a better year than this, but that's just my opinion.
Even if J.J. Hickson is only going to be a shadow of the player he was this year I would definitely make a run for him in the offseason. If we don't get him or any other decent power forward I don't see any reason to amnesty Tyrus.
If you haven't seen tonight's game, don't complain about Tyrus. he is playing tremendous.
