Might get Hendo for Hansbrough straight up. Hendo for the 1st IMO is more "iffy".
No way we get both.

There's no reason to trade for Tyler we're gonna gonna suck for the next few years anyway and we'll have plenty of cap room. He's not a guy who will get a huge contract and once the new cba kicks in i doubt indiana has the money to give him much of a contract. If we want him all we'll have to do is sit back and right a check eventually. No reason to give up an asset like hendo.

Dunlap said Henderson's back "locked up." Unclear whether he'll be available for Kings.
Injury prone :facepalm:
@rick_bonnell
Gerald Henderson told me he has a bulging disk in his back, an injury he first suffered while playing at Duke. (more)
@rick_bonnell
He aggravated the back injury on the 1st play of Friday's game while posting up. He knew he couldn't be effective in the second half (more)

Henderson intends to play against the Kings Saturday, but no telling whether he'll be able.
For Gerald, I hope this doesn't become a chronic problem...for the Cats...it may have lowered his number by $2M/season during his restricted free-agency. ....silver lining
Maybe that's why he doesn't always dunk and goes for Lay ups instead... I wouldn't be surprised if Hendo has been playing injured a lot of his career. Thing is by playing while compensating for his back he will put stress on other parts of his body eg the hip he had surgery on, this is worrying news and may significantly lower his trade value
I have suggested this trade both on here and in Hoopsworld chats. The guys at Hoopsworld do not think the Pacers would give up that much for Henderson
Why would they? Granger,George,Stephenson,and maybe even Green are playing more consistent week in and week out that Henderson. Why would they give up their best hustle guy off the bench for someone who would at best be their 3rd or 4th best wing player? If anything, i could see them having more interest in Mully or Haywood given what their team needs are. And with the new CBA about to kick in there's no way they trade for a reserve who's gonna want a fat contract. They already have plenty of money tied up.
If we wanted Hansbrough, we should have done the sign and trade that would have sent Augustin to Indy for Hansbrough. However, we just let Augustin walk. We could have really used TH.
