We could just sign him in the off season and not send them anything. Were gonna suck for the next few years anyway. Why break our necks to make deals for guys we can just wait and sign?

I'd rather opt in on the last year of Warrick's contract this summer than give Hansbrough a long extension. Hansbrough's a bit better, but they're both hustle guys who you can't go to in the post for points. At least with Warrick you keep flexibility going forward and have an expiring contract to play with in trades.
Warrick defence and rebounding is terrible. Like Dunlap said he is the opposite of Adrian, that shows what he thinks for warrick
I'd rather have Warrick at one year for $4 million than pay Hansbrough $16 million over three years to be a glorified garbage man.
Sorry, didn't see that the discussion was for Hansborough at 4 mil a year for ; years. Either way, I was just pointing out something Dunlap said about Warrick in an interview the other day
Well, the problem with Hansbrough is the same problem with Mullens: he's a free agent at the end of the year. You can either tie up money during the best part of free agency by extending him a qualifying offer and letting him go hunt for a contract, you can just pay him outright, or you have to let him walk at the end of the year.
