I was saying the same thing, Biz is not a natural basketball player and his tendencies are WAY off. Noel does some stuff better than Davis, and AD does some stuff better than Noel. They play exactly alike thought. Body type, they both can run the floor very well for big man, and they are great, I mean great defenders.
I just want us to draft Noel and another big man really bad. This kid is not someone to miss out on. We can also draft another good player with Portland's pick.
Been telling y'all about Noel for a while now. Dude is a monster. And I don't think it would be difficult for him to develop a mid-range jumper. IDK why, but something about his fluidity and BBIQ just makes me think he could develop a solid midrange with a little effort.
lol Bismack would be destroying the NCAA right now. I guess you don't remember when he put up a triple double against the best of the best NCAA prospects. He would shut down the entire paint at that level with no such thing as defensive 3 seconds it would be open season for him. Think 7+ blocks 12+ rebounds
So, I guess I'm posting the same thing in like the fifth thread. Biz was always a four- or five-year project. Biz doesn't have much in the way of trade value right now, so his long-term potential is worth more to the Bobcats than the journeyman he can bring back in a trade. If some other GM falls in love with him and wants to give up real assets he's available. Barring that, just sit tight, let him play, and see what happens, because Charlotte doesn't have better options this year anyway.
I blame Dunlap for pulling him out every time he makes a stupid mistake. I may be in the minority on this, but since our team really isn't going to do shit this season I think Bismack should be getting more leverage. Instead, he is getting his confidence undercut. He's going to mess up frequently and it's not like he's costing us our chance at contending for anything this season. I'm not ready to give up on him and I'm also not ready to buy into another big man prospect until management makes a firm choice to.
It's a balancing act though. You can't just let Biz (or anyone else) work thru all mistakes without hurting the others' development on the team.

By the way on Ben Wallace... Biz at 20 years old is averaging 5x what Ben was averaging at 23-24. Biz is blocking more shots on average than Ben Wallace did until he was 26.
Not only is Biz not a bust, he still has the potential to be double what Ben Wallace ever was. He's 20. He had a double double against Minnesota, then followed it up with a crappy performance on the road in Chicago against an All star. Something you would have expected if you watched Biz. He's young, and wildly inconsistent. But so is virtually every 20 year old in the NBA. Its a process and this kind of knee jerk reaction is what gets a rebuilding effort in trouble.
And mark my words... if we get Noel, he will be starting beside Biz as the new PF for the Charlotte Hornets.
