If he trained with Tim Grover and got in basketball shape, he could play today.
He could start at SF for the Bobcats, although it would stunt MKG's development. I'm sure MKG is a better athlete now and due to his age would be better suited to hold up for a season but, does anybody really believe he is better at playing basketball today than MJ is?
I heard theyve done successful brain transplants with mice and even dogs and monkeys. Its time to advance science for the good of mankind and basketball. Sorry mkg...
Actually mj controlling bismack would be amazing
One game a month he'd be great. The rest of the month he'd be in recovery.
Seriously.
Now, no way. 218....
What I think should happen, and I've had this discussion quite a bit out here, is that he should go ahead and announce that he's going to do it, that he will re-turn for a 5 game schedule next year. So that will give us this entire year to discuss about it, and it will give the Bobcat's some publicity. It also gives him time to get in shape , even though he really doesn't have to be.
Through the year he will play 4 games at home in Charlotte and will play the 5th and final game at Chi, the ticket sales and the publicity would be worth it alone. Not only will we finally get on primetime tv, we would be the talk on all the sports shows. One of the worst parts about being a Bobcats fan is having to explain to almost everyone that yes Charlotte has a NBA team. He literally has nothing to lose and it would increase the value of his 80% investment.
Edit - Also I think if he did do this next year, this would be the perfect time to re-brand the team. Let's be honest here the Bobcats is a bad name, it was named after a Owner who is no longer the owner. I could care less if the new name is the Horners, the Flight, The Air, or the Sporks, but if were going to rebrand the team might as well do it as we head into the biggest thing to ever happen to our franchise, and trust me Jordan re-turning to play for the Charlotte ____ would be huge news and probably be one of the most talked about things in 2013-2014
Doesn't have to "sell" the team, just turn over his controlling interest ...same thing he did in Washington I believe with an agreement to have sale reversed when he retired.
Then retire again and have the team signed back over to him.
Not really a big hurdle at all. I think the lawyers could make it happen quickly and covertly...
Would the NBA really stand in his way by fighting the legality of the team "transfer" ?
