..what do we do with Dunlap? does he finish the year?
...four to seven more wins
...the team will probably tough it out with Ben then make every effort to trade him on draft night
...not yet. If he cant be moved in a trade over the summer, a buyout before next season becomes probable.
...Dunlap was mainly hired to develop the young guys with hard practices, not to coach the vets the way most of them are use to with average practices. Unless there is more dissention Dunlap will get to finish his 2nd year. Right now he is very raw at game management. He should improve next season. If not he is gone.
..what is the outlook for the rest of the season?
minutes for the young guys, more losses, more ping-pong balls. It's all part of the plan.
..what do we do with Ben Gordon? can he and Dunlap co-exist?
BG gets with the program and accepts his minutes off the bench. He can be mad if he wants to, but if he makes it past the deadline then he really has no leverage. If he doesn't get with the program then I foresee some mysterious Corey Maggette-ish leg strain that keeps him off the active roster for the rest of the season.
..is it bad enough we need to start talking buyout?
If they didn't buy out the garbage that is Diop or Thomas then they won't buy out Gordon.
..what do we do with Dunlap? does he finish the year?
Absolutely yes. This season his job isn't wins and losses, its player development.
..what is the outlook for the rest of the season?
20 wins. That's my hope at least. 20 wins and I call it a job done.
..what do we do with Ben Gordon? can he and Dunlap co-exist?
If he doesn't, we call Paul Silas.
..is it bad enough we need to start talking buyout?
Nope. A buyout just doesn't make sense unless we are in contention for a much better player via FA.
..what do we do with Dunlap? does he finish the year?
Yes. Phil Jackson wouldn't have got this team in the playoffs. Next year, assuming we've added more substantial pieces, there will have to be marked improvement. If we're sitting at 12 wins this time next year, then its evaluate Dunlap's future.
..what is the outlook for the rest of the season?
20 wins, development, draft party.
..what do we do with Ben Gordon? can he and Dunlap co-exist?
Seems as if its already over. Played the same night. I don't think moving him for sake of moving him sends the right message. Then dissent becomes a way out. If a good deal comes along with picks take it... other wise bench him if its a problem. It wont hurt anyone but Ben
..is it bad enough we need to start talking buyout?
What Ziggy said .
..what do we do with Dunlap? does he finish the year?
What Ziggy said again... x1000
I think we get anywhere from 20-24 wins
I think Gordon will be traded on draft night as an expiring contract
No, Gordon has value. You do not buy him out
Dunlap will finish this year and may get a second. Now if Jerry Sloan or Stan Van Gundy want the job at then end of the year, I would think about moving on.
17-21 wins....
Gordon will be traded on Draft night i'm pretty sure because of his expiring contract....
no way we buy him out
Dunlap will finish the year we all know he was brought in to develop players...the plan isn't to win games it's to develop the players the FO knows that
.what is the outlook for the rest of the season? 22 wins tops.. MKG gonna show out. That Rising Stars game gave him confidence.
..what do we do with Ben Gordon? can he and Dunlap co-exist? Trade him during off-season. Maybe they can, depends on Gordon.
..is it bad enough we need to start talking buyout? No, think they want something in return..he has value.
..what do we do with Dunlap? does he finish the year? He finishes the year, no doubt. If he is relieved of his coaching duties in the future, he will remain a part of the franchise regardless. I do think Higgins should be let go tho.
