Like what Kevin James says about taking diet advice from fat people "you know what you need to do? .... Yeah... not listen to your fatter ass"
Indiana hasn't done anything right ever. No rings... 1 conference championship in 46 years.... yeah I'm good, I'll pass on your lecture on how to run a team.
Mackey you aren't making any sense
you say we have no chance of signing a superstar, then you are wondering why we're tanking? the hell do you want us to do? you might be content with a 10 year rebuild that peaks with a core with a 0% chance of ever winning a title but obviously most people in Indiana aren't judging by how many people watch their games now.
This has got to be the longest thread ever written about Josh McRoberts in his entire existence. I just wanted to be part of history.
Someone should tell him about this thread so he can print it out to save for posterity. Unless ...he's .... Hmmm... Is that you Josh "Mackey-Rose"berts??
Nobody's scared that McRoberts is going to make the team too good. Quite the opposite: the problem is if Charlotte has to sacrifice cap space to sign him they'll be prevented from improving the team to a greater degree. He's a role player, they aren't suddenly sitting in the ninth seed in the East if he comes on full-time. It's all about the cap situation.
Reading this thread, Mackey_Rose has repeatedly made a LOT more sense than the notion that player management is all about what's on paper and how much cap space you have as if our FO is playing with Monopoly money.
Where the hell was all this bitching in regards to Sessions' contract? Without him and with some D League call up where we're mining for talent we'd probably have about 10 wins total. You can say the 6 extra wins don't matter unless it puts us in contention but tell that to the people who buy tickets/watch every game.
Overpaying McBob 8/2 won't sink the freaking franchise...and like Mackey said NO ONE is suggesting an overpaid 4 year contract.
The hilarious part is it probably won't even take that much so this is probably moot. I doubt he's going to be in any real demand so most like we'd be looking at around 4 or 5 over 2 years.
