UConn\'s Rudy Gay is playing well below all of the preseason hype, and in my opinion below all of the NBA draft projections that have him potentially going #1. He has show potential and thats about it... And you know what they say, potential gets coaches fired

Re:Rudy Gay
I watched the UConn Villanova game last night, and I believe that the saying is big players make big plays in big games. HowevAHH ( In my best Stephen A. Smith imitation ) Rudy Gay did NOT step up at the end of the game. Hes ridiculously athletic, but if hes worthy of a top 3 or 4 pick in the draft, then he should be consistently dominating players at the college level.

Re:Rudy Gay
I just finished watching the UConn / Villanova game and Rudy Gay didn\'t show me anything to convince me that hes worthy of a top 3 or 4 pick. I understand that UConn is big on playing within the \"team\" concept, but I barely noticed that he was even on the court.

Re:Rudy Gay
Anyone ever cross state lines and see USC\'s Renaldo Balkman play? He\'s the most under rated player in college basketball. This dude is going to pimp the whole NBA.

Re: Renaldo Balkman
He\'s defiantly in my top 5 in college hoops. Did you see that game on Valentines Day. 26 pts and 18 rebounds. Oh my... Can\'t wait to see him on the next level. He is under rated and going to take the NBA by suprise.

Re: Renaldo Balkman
I haven\'t seen him play, but I\'ll definitely take a look at him in the NIT tournament. Those are pretty gaudy numbers at the college level.

Here is Jim Calhoun\'s latest take on Rudy Gay, It doesn\'t sound too positve to me...
