The Bobcats beat the Pacers tonight without Gerald Wallace, Emeka Okafor, Sean May, Brevin Knight and Bernard Robinson. Theres no reason that they can\'t make a 14 or 15 game improvement in 2006-2007 and compete for a playoff spot once they have these players back healthy and they add another quality player through the draft. I don\'t want to hear any of that crap from the bobcats front office about 5 years, long term vision, saving money for 2007-2008 etc. Next year should be their year to get in the playoffs.

Re:Bobcats/Pacers
I 100% agree.
With the way Felts has come on plus getting EO50 and McMay back and the continual evolution of Crash, we are only a quality SG and an fairly injury free season away from the playoffs.
We need Marcus Banks and Steven Hunter on this team to solidify the 2nd unit and we would be sensational.
Felton - Banks
Carney - Carroll
Wallace - Jones
Okafor - May
Brezec - Hunter
Solid starters and quality depth with players in each unit that compliment each other........just like the Pistons.

Matt Carroll played great and earned player of the night, Felton needs to get more clutch he missed 3 big shots in the 4th quater but his passing was on point tonight.
