Something else that I'm looking forward to seeing Friday night is Brandon Roy. Hes currently averaging 15.6ppg and pulling into the #1 position as the probable rookie of the year. There was a lot of controversy around draft time last year about possibly taking Roy instead of Morrison, so I'm looking forward to the chance to get a look at him over the course of a full game.
sad to say, we may have made the wrong pick, but its still early in their careers. it will also be good to see zach randolph and okafor go at it. ill say bobcats by 8
Okafor should dominate Randolph. Okafor's D > Randolph's O.
Brandon Roy was the most nba ready player in the draft, and was a senior - unlike Morrison.
Roy is better now, but Morrison has a higher ceiling and more range.
So far i think Roy has played better than Morrison and to this point would have been a better pick. I addmit i wanted Morrison and still do. I just think hes got to get use to the NBA. Felton will kill J Jacck. and the Okafor match up shuld be a good one, It all comes down to which team comes to play for us tonight. Do we have the talent to beat them yes.. will we beat them thats another question. Im so excited i told my wife to give our tickets away at work. If she dont have to go to night we not going. I HOPE NO BISNESS REASONS POP UP.

Now those are the words of a confident Bobcats fan :biggrin:Quote:

But I truly believe we have enough talent to beat Zach Randolph and Blazers. I hope Morrison won't take it as a one-on-one against Roy. If he does, he'll miss a lot of shots, which we never want.
I expect a 20-10 or 15-15 game by Emeka. Go Bobcats!!
I just took a look at ESPN.com and it appears that the Bobcats are giving the game away in OT. For anyone that has League pass that saw the game, I'd be interested in hearing if it was poor play in OT tht did us in or if Bernie coached us out of the game.
