From Yahoo, it's rumored that the Nuggets are attempting to trade Camby (and a few others). I think he would fit well with the team's defensive strategy. Could you imagine Camby, Okafor, and Wallace defending the lane? INSANE!

Yeah, having Camby, Okafor, and Wallace would be sick, but who could we give up besides Wallace or Okafor to get him?
yeah, that would negate the need to draft a big man and that would be an awesome defense.
we could trade the #8 pick straight up probably
I like Camby's game a lot. My two concern however would be his injury history and what we would have to give up in order to get him.
Now if we can get him in a Denver Nuggets salary dump, without giving up much then I'd take him in a heartbeat.
The article was on Yahoo! and it said that it was largely because of a salary dump (he makes 9.1 million). I think we could trade one of our first rounders, Brevin in a sign and trade (good distributor for AI and Carmelo finally)Quote:

They could also use a guy like Matt Carroll to have a larger SG that can drain the 3. If we gave them our #8 pick, I'd bet they'd draft Hibbert. Now, after thinking about that I think I'd rather have a cheaper, younger, potential Camby like that doesn't have an injury history than the real thing.
I'd give up the #22 and/or a restricted pick next year as long as that #8 sticks.
Camby misses more games than BK, Crash and EO50 combined.
I like what he does, but he doesn't play enough in a season to get it done IMO
bingo. The last thing we need is another injury prone player.Quote:

He has an awesome contract and a lot of ability. He'd make us an instant playoff team.
The #8 and Brevin Knight would be a great deal for Camby, unless we can land Brewer or Brandan Wright at #8 (unlikely).
I have no idea why they'd agree to move Camby though. Their cap situation is completely unfixable with AI, Nene, Kenyon, and Melo making BIG money. I realize they're trying to get under the luxury tax but they shouldnt have traded for AI if that was the goal.
We are likely to be a playoff team with or without Camby.
i think the number 8 and a starting point guard is a lot of money for a guy who stays in the hottub.
Gettin brevin out of here is a plus... so id offer Brevin Knight, next years 2nd rounder and cap relief.
If they dont accept... screw it.. we will just draft a big guy with the number 22.
Acting like we can get a big guy at #22 that's even comparable to Camby is crazy though.
Camby had an absolutely stellar season, and he'd be even more effective in the Eastern Conference.
He'd allow us to move Okafor back to PF and keep him out of foul trouble.
If we turned down Camby for the #8 and Brevin Knight we'd be making a big mistake.
