In a trade. I mean come on, cash considerations and David Wesley for the 15th pick in the NBA draft in 2006 loaded with potential 21 year old NC state product Cedric Simmons? The cavs just raped them.
Why couldn't we swing a deal like that?

Thats a great move by the Cavs. They sat that the Hornets did it mainly to free up cap space, but I wonder if they saw something in Simmons that they didn't like because it seems like they basically gave him away for a bag of Fritos :-\

Very interesting...makes one think there's more here than meets the eye. Possibly Byron Scott losing patience with a guy who seems like he's not developing and is always injured?

Pretty stupid though for NOLA...just because he doesn't seem valuable to them because of depth at the position doesn't mean you just give him away.

I'd be pretty surprised to see NOLA ever do a deal with the Bobcats, at least while Shinn is still there. I can't imagine he was too happy with the city...or Bob Johnson for jumping on the opportunity. Just seems like it might have created some tension.
Shin is a money grubbing jerk; Its all about money with Shin. Look at it from Shin's profit angle and you will more than likely find the reason.... :g:
