Official Trade Thread... Post yours! (Use the trade machine on espn!)
I thought this might be cool, and very official :D, I have seen some of the peoples reactions to the crazy trade schemes we come up with, so it might be good to place them all into a compact thread and try not to let them seep into other threads.I thought this might be a good place to show what you are thinking about and what you've come up with. Then we can critique each others trades... sound good? maybe? :)
well heres my first...
and it goes along with a question, I dont think it would work because I know players who are injured cannot be traded, so players like sean may and ammo cannot be traded right?
if they could, maybe for the future, heres my trade...
three teams involved, phoenix, charlotte, Milwaukee
bobcats trade:
Ray Felton- suns
Emeka Okafor- suns
Ammo-Bucks
May-Bucks
Bobcats receive:
Shawn Marion
Michael Ruffin
Suns Trade:
Shawn Marion
Suns Recieve:
Okafor
Felton
Voskuhl
Bucks Recieve:
May
Morrison
on an individual basis, may and morrison for voskuhl and ruffin seems like a good deal for the bucks if they get healthy
marion for okafor felton and voskuhl seems good for phoenix whos looking for another bone crusher big
we get marion and ruffin (a serious hustler who can play a good role) and open up 2 new roster spots (sign a point guard boykins or cj watson if you will)
what do you guys think; in retrospect that took me a really long time :)
**I think it makes the thread a lot better if before posting up trades check them on espn's trade machine, it saves us from talking about ridiculously unreal situations (no offense to the below)

its very good
Trade Okafor, Felton and Carroll to New York for Randolph, Curry and Robinson
With the recent troubles of the knicks that resorted in benching these players and the bobcats and the late stinking play of oak, felton n carroll, it made me think that a trade would benefit both squads. the knicks doesnt want these guys there maybe with the exemption of robinson and the bobcats are not happy with the play of these players.. the knicks are rebuilding, perfect for felton n oak to showcase their skills and the bobcats need certified all stars. they maybe less appreciated their because of effort issues, but with less temptations here in charlotte who knows. given the circumstances, zach is currently averaging a double double..20 10 guy every night. so i think this is a win win situation for both teams.. what do you guys think? imagine:
charlotte starters:
c - Curry
Pf - Randolph
f - wallace
sg - j-rich
pg - nate
bench:
nazr
dudley
d.a.
jeff
hollins
may*

Re: Trade Okafor, Felton and Carroll to New York for Randolph, Curry and Robinson
Uh...........no. How does that trade benefit us?
Re: Official Trade Thread... Post yours!
The Bucks would never go for it. 2 injured players go to the Bucks? Never happen.
Re: Official Trade Thread... Post yours!
I dont know look at who they are losing, voskuhl oh boy! and ruffin another guy who rides the bench, whereas they get a potentially very nice complementing scorer in morrison and a more skilled big in may, i think alone may is greater then both ruffin and voskuhl, and morrison is too so...
but granted theyd have to be moderatly healthy or the bucks would be undertaking a huge risk reward type thing
Re: Trade Okafor, Felton and Carroll to New York for Randolph, Curry and Robinson
for starters we never had a twenty ten guy in this franchise, in this case we are sure of at least getting one in zach.. curry might give you 12 8 conservatively depending how they use him.. let's face it, okafor will never be a 20 10 guy no matter hw they use him.. his more of a defender n rebounder type.. and at the point, we loose a little with loosing felton but not much because we also get nate.. loosing carroll basically unloads the wated contracted we aquired last summer when we signed him (worse signing ever)..
basically WINNING and more public attraction are the benefit from this.. that's not a bad benefit considering we havent won much in the history of this franchise..
Re: Trade Okafor, Felton and Carroll to New York for Randolph, Curry and Robinson
i dont like lazy players and seeing how the team this year is already playing lazy in certain games i dont think bringing in the leagues laziest player in Curry would help much.
Re: Trade Okafor, Felton and Carroll to New York for Randolph, Curry and Robinson
LMAO have you seen the Knicks this year??? If you think our guys are underachieving you need to watch Curry and Randolph.
Emeka's worth more than all three of them combined.
Re: Official Trade Thread... Post yours!
You can trade injured players but the other team has to waive the physical.
Marion has an opt out if I'm not mistaken...so you'd basically be trading Mek and Felts for 50 games of the Matrix and Michael Ruffin. We probably could get a S&T deal, but I see that as becoming nasty quick. That's why Utah refused to trade AK47 for him last season...even though AK was having the worst streak of his life.
