Re: Charlotte Bobcats @ Cleveland Cavaliers 1/11
Yeah I forgot about that one, lets see reasons we lost;
1) Bad call by ref end of 4th quarter.
2) JRich going cold for 3 quarters.
3) Missing perimeter shot after perimeter shot during the 4th quarter which let them back in the game.
4) Bone head airball shot at the end of 1st OT.
5) The flat play by Mek is another.
6) Lack of defence in key situations.
Take your pick.... :g:

Our money man FT shooter, Matt going only 2-4 from the line; just shooting 3-4, which is still below his average, woud've given us the game, but things just don't turn out good for this franchise, so why should it start now?
Also, why did GW just hold the ball after his rebound of Damon Jones's missed 3 in the first OT, instead of giving the ball to Raymond who was open beside him? Instead it's knocked out of his hands of his leg, Cavs get the ball back, and Jones nails the 3 the second time to tie it up.
The game was effectively over after the first OT when we have 14 seconds to draw up a decent game ending play, and wind up with Raymond pounding the air out of the ball near the Cavs bench for 12 seconds before throwing up an airball over Varejao. Why no movement? Why no drive to the hoop? There's a reason we're 13-22 (and will probably be sitting on that 13 for a good while), and we just witnessed it on that play.
If they can come back and beat Detroit tomorrow, then there is still a chance of actual change taking place with this team, but if things stay as they have been over the last 3 2/5 seasons, it will be loss number 2 in a row. We'll see :-\
I agree 100%

I really liked the play of Nazr 21pts and 15 board in less thn 30 mins good play .
Ever one else looked good except Oakfor . Hes in some kind of funk he needs to get out of quickly befor he loses his starting gig.Nazr is about to take it from him .
I can stand a loss like this . I think that bad call at the end of regerlation cost us the game.
There was way too much standing around on the offensive end. They didn't move with the ball enough and they didn't move off the ball at all it seemed especially late in the game...
Re: Charlotte Bobcats @ Cleveland Cavaliers 1/11
I agree. There was far too much standing around at the end of the game. But, I think the real reason that we lost was the same reason the Cavs won the Eastern Conference last year. When we needed to stop LeBron, we didn't. Despite the adversity we put ourselves in the whole game, it was still our game to win until LeBron decided to score in the 2OT.
It's frustrating, but there was a lot of good play from guys last night. I mean, how about Nazr Mohammed?
Now, has anyone heard about how Raymond's doing?

I would add Nazr getting fouled out on the list as well he was on a tear last night whenever he got the little pass from Felts in the paint.

For those that haven't heard it's just an ankle sprain. He probably won't play tonight vs. the Pistons, but even that isn't 100% yet. Touche had a quad sprain and it is not serious either.
Oh, and one stat that no one is mentioning is our free throw shooting. 56%?????? This game would have been ours with some fundamental free throw shooting. That is pathetic for professional bball players.
