Now we're down by 2 to the Bulls, and down by 3 to the Pistons. It won't be easy, but we might have a more reasonable chance at catching the Pistons than the Bulls. They are fading fast.

Is it just me, or are the Bulls winning every time I have gotten a score update in the last 2 weeks?
So frustrating!
Should be an easy win tonight, and hopefully Friday too. With that, and with a little help from above, I think we can definitely do this.
And hell, if Detroit continues to tailspin, it may be the Pistons we are fighting with at the very end. They're not out of reach and seem to be playing at a much lower level than the Chi-Town Bullies.
They thought the same thing when we won 6 in a row and they had lost a few.

Looks pretty good for us tonight...

It's over. With the tough part coming up, I can see the Bucks, Nets, Pacers and even the Knicks passing us.
If the playoffs started today... we wouldn't be there, nor we will. :( (I hate coming off negative, but it can't be helped)
Everybody calm down,
I was at tonight's game against the Wizards.(You might have seen me if you were watching. The only guy in the lower level in a Bobcats jersey. Behind the bench)
We played fantastic in the first quarter. Gerald seemed strong and we couldn't miss.
In the second quarter we flattened out a little bit. DJ made some shots, Gerald made a few free throws, control was still remaining.
They made a nice run right before the half. (Thanks Jamison for being unable to miss there for a handfull of minutes)
I still felt confident at the break. We came out cold. We missed every open shot, and Gerald got a look in his eye. I commented to my friend, "GWall looks in pain". It was not minutes later that GWall came out and stayed out until the 2:30 mark of the 4th quarter. He looked miserable on the bench. He cringed. He jeered. I knew it was an uphill battle.
Still we came back. And so did Gerald. He then missed both free throws on a drive to the hoop. He looked in pain after.
We proceeded to have a few referee non-calls (which, from sitting right there, looked like shooting fouls. I swear to it)
And that was it. Just another loss. But I refuse to let this ruin me. I do not believe we're out of the race because of this loss. We just killed our room for error, sure, but our guys have the talent to do it. I am not giving up.
BobcatinDC (sadly, tonight)
DC: I appreciate your optimism and for sure the Cats aren't out of the playoff race yet; anything can happen.
But! I've watched every game this team has played this year I can see the distress the guys are under as clearly as I can see the monitor in front of my nose.
I'll watch the rest of the games this season, because its what I do; but it'll take a serious redirection and a lot of luck for this to end with a playoff berth.
Holla!
They started off to badly to recover from this. The fact is: In 2009, the Bobcats have played over .500 basketball and that is something to raise your head up and be excited about. We need a superstar at either C, PF, or SG to make a step towards the playoffs.
