Default SportSouth HD??? Time Warner Cable?

It looks like the next 2 games are on SportSouth HD. Has anyone that has Time Warner cable been able to watch the Sportsouth HD games? Last season when there was an HD game on Sportsouth they would put it on the FoxSports Carolina's HD channel which was a part time HD channel. But now it appears FoxSports Carolinas is a full time HD channel so when the Bobcats are on Sportsouth HD, Time Warner cable customers are out of luck.

The Bobcats bragged that more games were going to be shown on HD this year. I guess they didnt realize that the cable company, in the city they play in, doesnt even carry SportSouth HD. I know the Bobcats response would be for us to try to call Time Warner cable and demand that channel. In fact, I tried calling Time Warner Cable to request they carry SportSouth HD but nobody seemed to have any idea what I was talking about. So I dont think any of the decision makers at Time Warner actually received my request. Sometimes I feel like it is a lot of work to follow this team. Oh well I guess I'm out of luck for HD games and will have to settle for the 13 on FoxSports Carolinas.

Yes, the standard definition of SportSouth is carried by Time Warner on channel 60 in the Charlotte area. It's the HD version of SportSouth that Time Warner is missing. Which is terrible considering the majority of HD games that the Bobcats have scheduled this year are on SportSouth. Like I said earlier, last year Time Warner would carry the SportSouth HD games on the FoxSports Carolinas HD channel. But now that FoxSports Carolinas has a full time HD channel I guess that is no longer an option.

It just simply amazes me that the Bobcats, IN THEIR OWN HOME CITY, dont have a way to make sure that their HD games are carried by the local cable company. Which also happens to be the same company that has the naming rights on the arena.

I have no hope of getting SS in HD. When was the last time one of you TWC guys watched the NFL Network?

Fox Sports South HD is channel 263 here in the Charlotte area. Theyve had a good number of games in HD this year. More than last season for sure. Anyhow...I think it has a good bit to do with whoever we are playing. Usually if its not on 263...than I will watch on ch. 40 or 60.

Speaking of the broadcast. I really dig the Curry/Martin lineup...its been my favorite lineup so far in our short history.

At least you guys have cable companies that actually show the games in SD. We don't get either with Charter.
