    Default Chandler or Diop

I don't think there is even a reasonable doubt as to who deserves to be getting the bulk of the minutes between Tyson Chandler and Nazr Mohammed. Clearly its Nazr, He deserves to be our starting center.

If this were to happen, who would you give the remaining 15 or so minutes per game to as backup center Tyson Chandler or Diop.... Tyson has shown me nothing.

Chandler. We are paying him too much not to play him a little bit.

Chandler and Diop are both zero attacks have unfortunately I see no difference between the two if diop played it out quickly because of the mistakes I'll guarantee

    Most definitely Gana.

At least he can catch a fucking basketball. He may not be able to do much once he catches it but the ability to wrap ones hands around a basketball as it heads in your general direction is definitely a plus for an NBA player.

At this point I'd rather have Gana on the court than Tyson. I honestly don't see one single solitary thing that Tyson does better than Gana.

    Does anyone else?

On a side note, what were your thoughts last night on seeing Tyson mangle that one man fast break?

Tyson is a better defender, and seeing as how Gana is only a defender, I'll take Tyson.

They just need to keep the ball out of TC's hands permanently.

I'm not really defending Chandler, as he has been pretty miserable overall. However, here's a few things to consider:

    1. Chandler has changed a lot of shots this season, even if he hasn't blocked them. He can get up and make people change what they do. We need that.

    2. While only explaining some of the stone hands moments, there are times when we pass it to him at the waste or lower. He needs it in the chest to be most effective. Props to Ampsportsduo for pointing this out the other night.

    3. I don't think he's at 100% yet. He just looks a second behind on most plays. Is his actions aren't automatic, like a quality professional athlete's should be. Once he gets up to speed and becomes more fluid, I think he'll be better.

    We'll see. It's certainly a bit concerning.

I voted for Tyson, but that's not meant to be a ringing endorsement (duh).

Curious: Did Mek have the "Hands of Stone" moniker over here too? I know that criticism ran rampant on Realgm (along with the fallacy that he didn't dunk enough which lead to him being known as "Toodles".) Not trying to turn this into Mek v. Chandler, just seriously asking.

To some degree, though I don't think people called him "Toodles."

Why is his lack of dunking considered a fallacy? He seemed pretty soft in the paint to me.
