Need more exclamation points !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!
Beagle, Hurry and get that 360 fixed!
Wow, Mass Effect 2 is incredible. They've improved everything from the first game. Seriously if you have any interest at all for this game, go buy it.

I know, ziggy, I know!! Good news on that front is I got a call just today and they repaired it and shipped it out. Maybe get it early next week just in time for (segue)................
BIOSHOCK 2!!!!!!!!
I kid you not, I had a tear or two stream down my face during the closing montage of the first one. That game, holy crap, it was just so emotionally investing, dripping with atmosphere, and one of the greatest (and smartest) plot twists in ANY MEDIUM. If anyone has never played the game, you must do yourself the favor....it is that good!!! The sequel can't possibly top it, but I hope it adds to the fantastic mythology of Rapture without ruining anything that has come before. Based on early reviews, I think they did quite well!
And then Dante's Inferno comes out the same day, Feb. 9!!! While the English lit major in me is offended by the errrrrrhistorical inaccuracies
of the game, I played the demo, and it is just freakin' gorgeous and fun to play. I mean, it's another God of War riff to be sure, but it's just such a gorgeous looking game and fun to play, and does have appear to have literary accuracy in terms of the circles of hell in being how Dante the poet detailed them in his epic.
So geez, 3 games I'll have by the time my Xbox returns, which to start on first![]()
And then Hard Rain comes out the 26th I think. Shit, 2010 is already a better year for games in it's first 6 weeks than '09 was in 12 months (love you MW2 and Uncharted 2 and Borderlands....but really).

Beagle,
I played the first Bioshock maybe 1/3 of the way through, and I always felt so depressed after playing the game that eventually I never picked it back up.
Should I gut it out and finish it ( After Mass Effect 2 of course)
Completely OT, but what type of jobs can you get with an English Lit degree? I don't mean to sound rude or anything Beagle (you know I have all the respect in the world for you) but it seems like one of those degrees like Philosophy that doesn't really have much of a targeted group of jobs
