Oh yeah, that kid from Davidson or Duke or however you call that institute. What's his name again?

Thought you guys would want to see that. Hopefully no one has posted it yet.
I understand where LB is coming from, but really he should see the bigger picture and cut Jax, Crash, Felton and Flip's minutes, otherwise those key players will simply burn out. After all, sooner or later someone (most likely our
beloved Crash) will get an injury.

Interesting to hear Larry say he has been begging to trade away a guard (probably Acie) yet the FO has yet to make a move.
True pro. Love that attitude.
Anyone think he will be anything but a bench player for the next 2-3 years? Wouldn't it be better to move him now and get something that we need to help us more this year and next (like a PF or better C?).
Something that's kind of intrigued me is a WAS fan on the RGM trade board saying that they're willing to take 2010/2011 money back if they can get a young piece or a pick.
I'd really like to get Haywood.

spectre...I doubt we keep Flip after this year...it might be a good thing (for Hendo) to get more time watching the games and developing his mid-range game...I expect him to play more...next if not this year...

I said the same thing on RGM BRNC, and Slam was quick to remind me there are a slew of SGs that will be UFAs next year...heh, he even played the "Raja Card". There will be a lot of open money next season at first glance, but after all the bigger FAs land I don't know that others will spend a whole lot for what's left. There very well might be another Flip like deal then too.
Heck, we might can even re-up Flip for 2yrs/4 million.
We're talking bench guy, and behind a player that pretty much demands 38-40 mpg. Flip gets about 21 mpg, but we have to remember he has handles (something LB says Hendo needs to work on) allowing him to play combo guard. In the next couple of years I don't know how Hendo's getting many minutes as he's pretty much a straight SG. I know he probably can play some SF...but we have UPS who also deserves minutes.
Teej...don't think they take on salary past next season. I was thinking maybe TC as the biggest piece or Nazr and expirings/assets.

Jamison, Haywood, and Oberto for TC, Hendo, Acie, and Lexy?
This could work from Saturday on.
They get two or three prospects (depending on how they value Lexy and Acie) and an expiring next year for a long term contract in Jamison (who isn't the future) and Hayood + Oberto's expirings.
spectre...I don't disagree with the logic but...we might not resign Flip...teams with cap money (for 2010), that miss "star players", might over-pay for second and third tier players...so we have no lock to sign Flip...and
The same teams (the Knicks come to mind) that miss out will be looking hard at Ray...so the combo guard stuff makes sense...we could easily lose Flip and Ray...a very solid reason to keep Hendo...at least for me...![]()
