Brown has been given a chance due to being painfully thin at the 4 spot.

Henderson hasn't been afforded the same luxury.

and odds are he won't this season. Maybe next season...but if I know Larry Brown he'll want another combo/big PG just like Flip if not Flip himself, which means he probably won't get a chance next year either.

I'd love to hang onto him, but I think some very difficult choices are going to have to be made.

Why is everyone saying get rid of Flip? He is our 6th man that we have never had the luxury of having. He is very vital to this team and to think you would want to trade him away is ludicrous.

Agreed on Flip. Don't see LB looking to move him at all.

Man I've been up since 3 AM so I'm dragging. Sorry but you're going to have to spell it out for me today.

Much like that line you threw out about the GSW SG who's out for the season...don't know if I'll ever live that one down.

If we trade anyone (and not hurt us this year and the future) (IMO) it should be any combo of AC/Hulk/AA...we will never get "true value" back for Hendo/UPS/DJ at this point so why give them away...?

Bahahahaha!! I noticed you started posting early this morning!!

The 8, 9, 10 thing was because of the 10 character min. Wouldn't let me just go with "Agreed".

I agree that I doubt Hendo will see much burn this year (send him to the D already for goodness sake!! Made the same mistake with Lexy last year). I'd LOVE to hang onto him, and maybe we will, but he is a guy who keeps getting DNP-CD's.

It also kind of reiterates my point about why Brown would be lower on my willing to trade list. Again, I didn't say trade either, but I did say if I HAD to choose, that I would not get rid of Brown. That said, I loved Brown's game in college and thought he was a bargain where we got him. He has bounce, skill, and versatility.

Henderson could turn out to be a terrific pick for us (I hope he does), but I think we too often get caught up in protecting what might be and ignoring what is. Like I said though, I am not specifically advocating trading either.

IMO this is a silly thread. Brown isn't getting traded and neither will Henderson. Both have a huge upside and this franchise would be crazy to trade them right now. We held on to Sean may for almost 5 yrs hoping he'd get better, These guys aren't even injuried so if LB would actually let them play we could see better who we drafted. DJ also will not get traded for some supposed savior at PF. Diaw will be traded before DJ.
Bismack Biyombo rejected the mayans....you are welcome

    Default it's a business...

One thing you have to remember is sometimes organizations feel they almost have what they need to go all the way and win it all. Call me crazy, but how do we know Jordan, Coach Brown, and Higgins don't feel that way? If they do, they will be willing to part with a good rookie with upside, if they might can win it ALL now!
Larry Brown will not be on that sideline forever. I think they are ready to do whatever it takes to build a team that can compete for a Championship. If they are, wouldn't Boozer for Brown make a little more sense?
