If the deal is right, heck yeah I would love him in a Bobcat's uniform! Just dont want to give up too much. Nazr has been very good for us this season, but he is getting long in the tooth. And Thompson is a young pup with lots of upside.
According to the Sacramento Bee, the Charlotte Bobcats would be interested in a deal with the Kings surrounding Jason Thompson.
The Kings would like a big in return, with Charlotte having excess big men available in a trade.

Take your pick of our bigs, Sacremento, i wouldnt even be opposed to giving you all of them (besides Derrick Brown, if you consider him a big).
we keep nazr. he is a very big part of this teams success. he is playing at or above his pay level and next year he is an expiring. on an emotional level, he suffered through the bad, worked hard and is now seeing success, let him have it. if they want a big how about offering:

if it doesn't copy:
diop
hendo
thompson
garcia
why them: we get rid of diop, they need a defensive big and get rid of a long contract they probably don't need considering martin and evans and udrich, plus they get a nice young player to play with evans and martin who doesn't need the ball and plays defense
why us: we get thompson, we can use garcia as a 6th man, he can spell minutes for both wallace and jackson, sure his contract is expensive and long but at least we can use him as opposed to expensive and long and unusable like diops
I think it'd have to be something like Nazr/DJ for Thompson/Udrih.
Obviously I'd prefer something with TC and get Kenny Thomas' expiring but I can't believe they'd take him on (same goes with Gana).
I'd do any of those. It'd hurt to lose Nazr but LB likes playing small which Thompson would allow more of...and TC is supposed to be back any day.

Lets make a deal!

Nocioni, Thompson, and Udrih for Tyson Chandler, DJ, and Raja Bell trade exception
What's good for Sacramento? I find it hard to believe that they'll trade Thompson without getting something to help them long term. The cap savings on Chandler's deal happens at the end of next season while getting rid of 2 salaries they really would like to get off the books while adding a Young PG they can start.
What's good for Charlotte? Adding a young stud PF without having to give up Boris Diaw is a huge plus. You get rid of, apparent, deadweight in Chandler, but losing DJ will hurt. Taking on salaries in Udrih and Nocioni but they've been productive players for the Kings this year, so they should provide quality depth in areas the Bobcats can use.
"I think if we're going to trade for another player and take on significant money, you'd have to feel like you're getting some real bang for your dollar," Kings basketball president Geoff Petrie told The Sacramento Bee.
With that in mind, it's probably unlikely the Kings will trade Jason Thompson to Charlotte. Sources tell the newspaper that the Bobcats would be "very motivated" by a deal involving the power forward.
The Bobcats are stacked with frontcourt players with limited trade value.
Frontcourt players the Kings might have interest in could be Andris Biedrins and Brendan Haywood.
I don't like taking both Udrih & Nocioni. Udrih has also been playing pretty well so I'm not sure they'd consider him a bad contract.
One I put on RGM:
TC/DJ/Law
for
KT (expiring)/Nocioni/Thompson
This one splits TC's last year into 2 parts giving us approx. 6 million in additional capspace next year which we can use to sign Felton and add some more pieces. Tho I don't like Noc at least we'd be using him to better ourselves financially & he's a fair backup SF.
SAC would be getting a good backcourt mate to Evans in DJ and help spur moving Martin. TC would be their gamble, but at least he'd be a big expiring next season which they could do something with.
