Only one I got to work, and add in probably a lottery protected 2012 number 1

EDIT: Only way it could work is AC for Ty straight up as a trade exception, and Graham and the number one for international rights or a number two with a trade exception.

I just don't like his skill sets. Or lack of skill sets. and brains and stuff. I mean hes a very very very very very poor man's Ben Wallace so maybe Larry can pull something out of him. We need an offensive threat and I don't think Tyrus is anywhere close to that. We will see.

Unless they use trade exceptions, but that'd put us close to the tax.

didnt see that thx. yeah losing flip would hurt. Although I remember a DJ/Felton backcourt being pretty good last year, am I remembering wrong? Maybe Larry wants to go back to that. I think it'd be good for DJ..

With hours to go before Thursday's 3 p.m. ET deadline, here's some of the latest buzz:

The Bobcats, determined to add an athletic big man to their front court, are close to landing Tyrus Thomas in a deal with the Bulls that would send expiring contracts and a future No. 1 pick to Chicago, a person with knowledge of the situation told CBSSports.com.

While the source cautioned that the deal was not completed, it would involve Charlotte's only expiring contracts -- those of Flip Murray and Acie Law -- plus a future first-round pick. The Bobcats would have the rest of the season to evaluate the soon-to-be restricted free agent and decide whether to commit to Thomas long-term. Trading Thomas spares the Bulls the embarrassment of losing one of their best players through free agency with no compensation for the second year in a row.

If successful in landing Thomas, Charlotte would circumvent discussions between the Knicks and Bulls involving a swap centered around Al Harrington.
    Shit, it is Flip.

We need to sign Dontell from the D-League then.

How come all our trades that we do seem so bone-headed when compared to that of others?

The only one that makes any sense is the Jax trade thus far.

Another team executive, who had been interested in Thomas, told Y!, "We're out of it now. I think (the Bulls) are getting their deal." 2 minutes ago from web
