TT gives us so many more lineup options.

MJ and Rod giving up a first says we do, but try to sign him to an extension. If MJ thinks he's getting the team, he can probably afford it. If he doesn't, he doesn't care about the future.

Irrelevant. LB will never bench Doris.

I think the Bobcats definitely made this deal with the idea of keeping him long term. You just don't trade 1st round picks for rentals. If Thomas does show his true potential, then it'll be a pick in the 20s more than likely due to the Bobcats being a much better team.

Remember...as it stands now we'll have 10 players under contract and be about 5-6 million under the LT. If we qualify TT that would make 11 and then we'd be over the LT and will have still not re-signed Felton.

And the cap;/LT is going down next year.

    It's a 30 game rental.

Unless LB is planning to let Ray walk, DJ start and use the $ from not signing Ray to sign TT. Not sure I agree with it, but it would make financial sense.

Think about it like this: worst case scenario, we just got an additional 6.5 mill to throw at felton and a back up power forward this summer.

But i think we will keep Tyrus. He is the ultimate LB player. It doesnt matter who starts between Boris and Tyson, we now have 2 decent (yes, i called Boris decent) options for Power Forward. This was a good deal for both the short and long term.

If Flip does get bought out, that just makes this even sweeter.
