Thomas, Jackson and Wallace have to make up one of the most athletic and meanest threesome's in the NBA. Add in Felton....

I remember a game last year when the Bulls came to Charlotte and Thomas started and was so good he scared the crap out of me.

I also remember commenting on this forum after the game how fortunate the Bobcats were that the Bulls didn't realize how good he was and had him sitting for most of the game.

Reading Hollinger's Chat on ESPN, he says Chicago should be shocked to have also gotten the future 1st out of the deal. This is exactly the type of thing that makes me fear an MJ regime with the Bobcats rather than Postolos. Just a lack of discipline. The Bulls were going to get rid of TT anyway as he was disruptive and not a happy camper. We could have gotten this done without a future 1st.

However, I'm really hoping that TT can show something good in the future.

Our lineup is now:
Ray/DJ
Jax/Graham/Hendo
Wallace/UPS
Diaw/TT
Nazzy/TC/Diop

That's a decent team. With the trade, I expect Hendo to pick up some more minutes. TT will probably get some burn, UPS might get his minutes reduced. I'm just hoping that TT can come in, give solid minutes off the bench by rebounding, defending, blocking shots and scoring some.

Positives:
-We got a backup PF
-We got something out of Acie Law
-Potential more rookie development time (Hendo)

Negatives:
-1st Rounder
-Flip (I wasn't a big fan of flip, but he was a beast and clutch).
-TT may turn out HORRIBLY

Tyrus Thomas is a #Bobcats now. They are going to the 2nd round now. Might post the best final stretch defensive unit ever.

I love the deal overall. I'm worried about the bench scoring now with Flip gone. Maybe LB really does believe Hendo can be that guy and is ready to step up.

Great move for us going forward. If Diaw is having a rough game, Thomas can take over.
