Can anyone say:
BUST
Would you rather have Thabeet or TC? That was the FO's choice.
Not so great for a #2...highest pick ever to be sent to the NBADL...

Well with Marc becoming one of the top 5 or so Centers in the league, I can understand them making the point to send him down
Thabeet should never have gone that high anyway so who looks worse Thabeet or the infamously retarded don't know wtf i'm doing Chris Wallace

I think Hendo is the next MJ. Clearly already a better player than MJ was at this point in his career. Maybe better than SJack. We'll have to see but, this guy looks like 2nd GOAT (behind Allen Iverson) material to me
Thabeet may be a bust. In college I didn't see much besides shot blocking, once in a while dunking the ball and rebounding. Here, hes 2-3 inches taller than most centers and is struggling to even grab a rebound. Perhaps this will be his wakeup call.

Supposedly he has no love for the game and only views it as a paycheck. Until that changes he'll never be worth that 2nd pick.
With our "luck" at draft selection I have no doubt he's the guy we would have taken if we'd have made that Memphis trade...but at least we'd have gained capspace then vs in 2 seasons.

They knew he was going to take a while to develope, as in years. It is way to early to call him a bust. He is a project, just like Ajinca. He is among the league leaders in blocks per 48 min and that is the part you can't teach. If he can learn some of the other stuff, he will be a solid player, if not a bust.
Just another case of "HOLY SHIT HES TALL, IM SURE WE CAN TEACH IT BASKETBALL"
