It is like Larry said to Crash "let them have those outside shots." Crash needs to play pressure D and trust his shot blockers. We have great shot blockers now if you get beat. I want to see him getting hand up more with the intention of blocking these jumpers.

Yuppers. Totally looks that way when he is called upon to defend the long ball.

    He don't commit.

Crash has always been a pretty weak perimeter defender. Something he's been working on I think.

    Nice drive by Jax!

Did you get the feeling watching last nights game they were gambling a little more on trying to pick off passes last night?

More so than they have been this season?

Yeah they were gambling a lot more than normal.

I don't know if it was that or just that they were throwing so much energy out on D. We haven't seen the latter in a long time.

I wish LB would do a better job of putting him in situations where he is free to roam. I liked the zone look. It could work if we focused on pressuring hard and then ran out to the open shooter with the intention of blocking the shot. Tyrus and Gerald would both be great at that and are both capable of coming over the top of TC to block his man if help is needed there. If you watch Louisville they play this kind of zone style some.

True - plus they were putting a lot of effort into the recovery if they missed the steal, which makes the world of difference.
