    Default alarming trend

despite getting 17 boards last night, i think crash may have a problem. he is spent. he plays 40+ a game and has been busting his ass all season as his numbers show. i have noticed something over the last 4 or 5 games. his legs are gone. he has missed more alley oops, dunks and easy jumpers than i can ever remember him missing. he missed an easy oop in the 4th last night. larry better get him some significant rest before the final stretch 15 games or we risk him running out of gas or getting hurt.

Problem I see Chef is that LB is afraid to take Crash off the floor. UPS can come in and give us good minutes, but even with his impressive showing a few weeks back LB hasn't played UPS since. LB has faith now in Hendo, let's hope he has faith in UPS to back up Crash.

    Slightly OT but..........

I give Felts a hard time about his way ward alley oop passes all the time, but that one was cherry. Perfect looped and timed. Gave Crash all the chance in the world to get at it.

    Back on topic.........

I agree that him being gassed might be the problem. In fact, i hope that's all it is. He's missing point blank layups at the front of the rim. He's doing all the hard work to get there but not reaping the rewards.

Hopefully LB can find him some more rest time heading into the post season and look to guys like Hulk, UPS and Hendo a little more.

Larry Brown is a bad coach....Yea I said it...He may be a great teacher but he sucks at coaching a basketball game. Walllace, may be in great shape, but he can't keep this up. Neither can Capt. Jack but he's not as active as Crash. I don't care if they are rookies LB you drafted them, PLAY THEM!!!!

the reason we hang around in games then lose in the last few minutes is our stars have play'd basically the whole game pedal to the floor all out. LB needs to use Henderson and Brown more, Especially Brown. He's very active on the boards, more athletic then Diaw. Best of all he tries to score everytime he touches the ball and will dunk on your eye lashes if you get in the way
As long as NC has a team, I'm going to cheer for it

i agree that gw's minutes might be catching up to him but also think a part of it is teams new found emphasis on trying to take him out of the game (happens when you become an all star) gw is going to have to make some ajustments because this is how teams are goining to play him down the stretch and in the playoffs. the team really needs to make efforts to free him up more either by screens and pushing the tempo more when he is at his best.gw is best suited to be the teams second or third offensive option but we currently don't have a consistent scorer from another position. Would like to see felton assume that role, he has shown the ability to get into the paint fairly easy when he plays under control and is agressive(ray please start taken some of those short jumpers and stop going into the big fellas so much cause you don't get foul calls unless it's the end of the game)

Was at the game last night and me and my friend said the same thing, "I've never seen him miss an alley-oop like that." I believe he did it twice last night, once on each end. We were sitting baseline Sec 102 next to the Bobcats tunnel, and I have no idea how he didn't finish it...

He's still getting up there, but it looks like it's taking him more effort. Anyone who's played bball knows though, once your legs go, your arms and everything else follows. He might look like he's getting up just as high to me, but he might not be feeling that way at all. You can tell something is not right though.

GW put in 44:14 (high for all players) and we are back-to-back with 76ers...we all know how important last nights game was but the guy should be in the 38-40 range...these 40+ are really taking a toll...
A tribute to "Crash"...We'll miss you Dude...
