Default I'd prefer the 8th seed

Obviously 5th would be ideal but if we are not going to get 5th then i'd rather have 8th than 6 or 7.

Who here does not think we are a better matchup with the Cavs than we are vs the Celtics or Magic?

Although i think beating the cavs in a series is still unlikely I see it as being possible. I do not see us putting up much of a contest against the celts or magic - we just do not match up well with them

    Your thoughts?

Agreed. I'd rank my preferences like this:

    1) Cavs (Sad that this is the case)
    2) Celtics
    3) Hawks
    4) Magic

Despite the fact that Boston has killed us all season long, I still think we could wear them down in a 7 game series. IMO, there's no way we beat the Hawks. They're more athletic than we are (which is our strength) and more skilled to go along with that.

The Magic would kill us. We forced the game into OT the last time we played them, and that was when Nelson and Carter were stinking up the team. We ended up getting killed on OT anyway.

Guys, honestly we match up well with Cleveland, but I don't want any part of them in the playoffs. Main reason being, how many times have you seen a team dominate a series in the regular season, then get obliterated in the playoffs? With their full attention, we might steal a game at home but that's it.

    1. Atlanta
    2. Boston
    3. Orlando
    4. Cleveland

Atlanta is tested and skilled yes, but if we play defense like we have been, I think we could steal one down there and sweep at home in all honesty. Outside of Johnson and Crawford, they don't really have shooters, or a dominating post presence. Horford is okay, but we have enough big bodies to throw at him.

Boston would remind me of when the Charlotte Hornets first made the playoffs in 1993 I believe. A young, up and coming team against the aging veterans of past glory. Man I'd love to see that again and blast them just like the Hornets did back in the day. No one gave the Hornets a chance then, and it would be the same thing here today.

Orlando would be tough just because of their damn shooters. We'd have to play Howard one on one, and I would, let him get his and try to shut everyone else down. We could push it to six against them, but I'd doubt anymore.

I'd prefer a playoff spot, 5-8 is fine with me. the playoffs are going to be tough, but the main goal is to get there. We have to clinch a spot before we worry about where we want to finish

If 1-4 stay the same then I defenetly want to see us get ethier 8 seed or 5 seed. I don't want to play the Celtics or the Magic in the first round. Wouldn't mind the Hawks.

I'd like to see us get the highest seed (fifth seems do-able) that we can...
