Didn't get to see this game... but I am proud of the Cats for the win, especially without Wallace, Baron is such a douche. Hope he is gonna be ok, will be hopin for Sunday against the Magic, I expect a win, but am just hoping we could pull out a win.

    Go CATS!!!

A night of mixed emotions for The Beagle.....

First and foremost, another win in the bag, 5th in a row, 2 games over .500, all alone in 6th, and 2.5 games up on 9th place Bulls!!!

The good: I made great time getting to the game, got there a little after 6, and when I got to my seats I noticed a certain fellow-bearded individual who I've been a big fan of since his college days. I geeked out, went down to the tunnel entrance, got a signature, got to show off my beard, and best of all, got his seal of approval and got him to laugh. Talk about being on a high...I mean, this meeting was like over 10-12 years in the making for me!!!

The bad: Of course, the fellow-bearded fellow was B Dizzle, and he hurt our Gerald on a highly questionable decision by him. I mean, that's so not like Baron to give a push in the back of a guy who is so vulnerable by going fast and hard to the rim. I can't hate him, and he's still my favorite non-Bobcat player in the league, but that was a massive massive buzzkill for me; not only to have GW out for god-knows-how-long, but for my boy, BD to be the culprit

Congrats for the guys to keep battling through in the 2nd half, but I was dead inside; really, I was miserable to the point I was feeling like I was watching a bad loss. I'm still so down, it's hard for me to even think of the win that we did get.

Sharing a laugh with one of my top 5 favs of all time, then have him (unintentional as it was) hurt another of my top 5 favs, but more special because he's a Bobcat....this was the true definition of a "bittersweet" night for me; that's for fucking sure....

One other thing I loved: even though we had no blocked shots, we redirected a TON of shots. If we get our other centers healthy, we'll have a ton of fresh bigs to come in and wreak havoc.
    SOMEONE will pay for THIS!

"He was going so fast to the hole that I was just trying to cut him off," Davis said. "I had no intentions of trying to hurt him or flagrant foul somebody, especially when they're fighting for a playoff position. ... I was just trying to give a foul to stop a basket. I guess his momentum was just carrying him too fast, and I kind of misjudged it."

Sounds all well and good Baron, but I think everyone who watched that sequence knew you were pissed off Crash stole the ball from you. Even the Clips' announcers said as much.

In recent news, when prompted why the Bobcats didn't record a single block while opposing Guard Rasul Butler had 3, Tyrus Thomas claimed, "Why try and block it? We knew it wasn't going to go in anyway, so we just stood there and yelled 'booga booga booga'"

Davis was way out of line with his foul on Wallace. Baron, you play for the Los Angeles "worst franchise in American sports" Clippers. You have had no chance at the playoffs since your season's tip-off. Let Crash score his layup and move on with losing the remainder of your schedule.

How this team manages to survive in the same building as the Lakers is hilarious. If it wasn't for the Clippers ability to sell tickets at the Staples Center so fans could see real NBA teams come to play, they would be relocated in a heartbeat. (If I had my way that's exactly what would happen.)

Now because B-D had the urge to show some "heart" after a turnover we may be 1-2 weeks without our franchise player.

I like the front-office's decision to bring in Larry Hughes to temporarily fill the gap. He's on the down side of an under-achieved career in my opinion. (Too many seasons with teams like the Warriors, Wizards, etc.) I think he may be able to step in and bring 10-15 per game while Crash is out.

As Stephen Jackson said after the game, "Pray". This franchise deserves a playoff berth and missing Wallace for 5-10 games out of our remaining 20 will make things too close for comfort.
