When Jack made that wild, impossible looking fade away late in the game over Pietrius, I knew we had this game. Great effort by the whole team, especially stepping up in Wallace's absence.
Lets keep it up!!!!
I didn't get to see the game, but I must say I was shocked when I saw the score and saw we won. I really was not expecting a win at all, definitely without Wallace. Miami and Milwaukee won, but Toronto is down by 11 at half. If they can lose that furthers our race from 8th and 9th

Key phrase from the game tonight: Make love to pressure.
As is only natural, Jack was at the forefront of the love-making, but the whole team not only accepted pressure, but thrived from in it. The Boris and Jack 2-man show going on the last 4 or so minutes was so awesome to watch: each feeding the other in positions for easy baskets; I just love watching the new and improved Boris since the Tyrus acquisition....bringing back the memories of last year a little bit.
Though he had some butterfingers a little, Raymond also came through huge, as he and Tyson defended the pick 'n roll in textbook fashion yet again. Memo to the league: We're starting to figure this pick 'n roll thing out, so start working on something else!
Stevie with a fabulous job filling in for GW and then there's Theo....Wow! The old warhorse is such a factor on interior defense it blows my mind. Sure Dwight had his 20-something points, but nobody else was getting anything at the rim on Theo, and if they did, it was dumb luck. I loved it when we picked him up, but I had no clue how big he'd be playing for us down the stretch...dude's only been here 3 or so weeks and he's already the best 5 this franchise has EVER had! Sorry, Mek, but it's true.
Even Tyrus, who imploded toward the end with a dumb shot and dumb pass on consecutive possessions made 2 huge plays: the steal from Dwight off a rebound and dunk, and outreaching and outfighting ORL for a loose ball rebound late in the 4th that kept them from a second chance. I remember thinking when that play happened, how no Bobcat (maybe Hollins) could've made that play ever with the combination of length, athleticism and speed needed to get the ball from Dwight and either Bass or Pietrus. It's one of those plays it's easy to forget, but if I'm a coach, he's getting special recognition for that one.
When you combine this win with the Miami win, it's becoming obvious that the Bobcats are not only looking like a playoff team but playing like one as well. (Just typing that sentence was so much fun, by the way!) Also, 3 games over .500 for the FIRST. TIME. EVER. I like this winning stuff and the rewards it brings...

"The Charlotte Hornets name has been a mainstay throughout the region for many years, and we are excited to announce our intention to re-establish this historic brand. We believe that its return will galvanize our fan base by unifying our loyal Bobcats fans with those who have strong memories of our city's NBA predecessor." MJ, 5-21-13
I was there!
Man that stadium was electric! Nothing better than making a bunch of Magic fans going home crying!
