Way to hang in there and get a Great win Bcats!!!!
I don't know where it ranks among the great games played in TWC but that was definitely on the list. Down by 19 to a good, rested team, while our guys are running on fumes and apathy......told my friend I was ready to leave whenever he wanted to and was being serious. He told me we were going to get the lead down to single digits before the half; of course, I laughed, and I'll be damned if the switch clicked on the defensive end, Raymond went insane, and the guys knocked it down to 8 at the half!!! (and the rest is sweet sweet history!)
A tremendous, balanced team effort tonight on both ends, but it was, as usual, the superlative effort on defense that made the difference. The Hulkster was fantastic on Durant, using his girth and irradiated muscles to make the taller, longer KD look uncomfortable out there in the 2nd. Also, there were great double teams on him performed most notably by Chandler; they were hard doubles too, so that KD couldn't instantly find the open man, instead just looking for a guy to help him out and slowing down the offensive flow. Great job.
spectre's breakdown of Raymond is right on: he had maybe his best game of the year tonight by keeping the team in it in the 1st, containing the longer RW and forcing him into some TOs, while at the same time committing, officially at least, zero TOs!
Also, a vintage Larry Brown great play out of the timeout with the alleyoop from Boris to T2 which was set up by a downscreen by Jack if memory serves. But regardless, another great play out of a timeout.
Also, kudos to section 117! The first time I've ever been surrounded by rowdy fans on the first level and it was a hoot!!!

I think the turnover you are talking about was given to Theo, when he passed the ball at Raymond's feet and Westbrook grabbed the ball and passed it to Delfino for a dunk. I think that was around the 9 minute mark of the 1st quarter. So I believe the stat sheet may have been right. I am not sure how they look at turnovers. I know once in another game Ray did a wrap around pass to Chandler and he bobbled it and it was a good pass, but they gave the turnover to Ray.
I believe turnovers (and assists among others) are counted by the home team's score keeper. There was some very interesting material a year or 2 ago regarding Nash and CP3 averaging better numbers at home v. On the road because of that.
Does anyone remember MJ sitting on the bench talking to Jax right before Jax woke up and got it going? They were talking about that post game, but I missed it during the game.
Jax spoke about this on wfnz this moring he said MJ was giving him some pointers as to what he was seeing on the court and that Jax should try to work more from the post area to create offense. speaking of which i think that we should post Jax up more, he seems to either get a high percentage shot or doubled leaving someone else open
