Default Pre-Jordan roster verses current roster

Comparing these two rosters is what gives me great hope in the future of the Jordan led Bobcats. In fact, I have more faith that we can win a champsion than I ever had as a hornets fan. Way to go MJ and keep up the good work!

That 2005-2006 roster was horrible. Looking back on it, It had MAYBE 3 legit NBA caliber players on it.

there has been tons of improvement (understatement of the year)

Agreed on that one. I've got a good feeling going into the playoffs.

And to think, I used to have to argue with some folks that it was not simply a matter of a pg making the team into an instant playoff contender....

Is this even a fair comparison? The 05-06 Bobcats were in their 2nd year of existence. Yes, that team was awful and I believe the roster could have been better but the difference would have been marginal. Also, i'm not necessarily sure who to equate the roster's improvement to. It would probably have to be Jordan, but I am not sure how much freedom Rod Higgins has. Rod has made some great trades.

A whole bunch of those guys I haven't even heard before. What did Bickerstaff grab from the expansion draft . Only good thing I see there is Crash, Felton and EO50.

Very key point that has often gotten glossed over.

    Walt,

All pgs need help around them, at a minimum, parts with skillsets that fit a cohesive system or direction.
